Token speaks on Eminem mentioning him on “Remind Me” Posted on August 21, 2025August 21, 2025 By Remy Gelenidze Token has recently sat down on Bucked Up podcast where he talked about Eminem referencing him on a track “Remind Me” from Revival album. In the song, Eminem raps: “Girl, you’re smokin’ like Snoop Dogg. But you must be tokin’ if you think you’re takin’ over my quarters.”Token has often been compared to Eminem because of his wordplay, punchlines, his ability to rap fast and because he is white. Of course, Eminem being who he is, disregards the comparisons and says that you’d be out of you mind to think Token could replace him. The phrase “you must be token”, in this sense, could refer to the verb toking, which means smoking weed, seeing as it would tie in with the previous sentence. Eminem continues the wordplay, because tokens are also used at an arcade. This ties in with his use of the word “quarters”, because these coins are used to play games on arcade machines. In the interview, Token says: “When Eminem mentioned me, I got blown up. It was so clever. Everything has double, triple meaning so you can make an argument like ‘he was not talking about you.’ At that time, Em comparisons where out of control. If you literally looked up “new Eminem” I would come up. It was ridiculous.”Then he continues: “I know Eminem knows who I am. I was on Shade 45 with Sway and he was like ‘bro, what the f–k is happening between you and Em?” I was like ‘I don’t know!’. Obviously there is no bad blood. Me having bad blood to Em is f–king wild. He invented me, literally. So I don’t know what it was. After I did the freestyle with on Sway, he showed me his phone and Paul, Em’s manager just texted him ‘kid did good!’ You can watch the interview below: RECENT RELATED ARTICLESMark Wahlberg: Millyz & Token are Next; Eminem is GOATMarch 16, 2026Eminem Honors Proof on the 20th Anniversary of His PassingApril 11, 2026Ultra-Rare Signed Eminem “Infinite” Vinyl Hits Auction: Only 2 Known to ExistApril 11, 2026Which Record Is Bigger: Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” or 50 Cent’s “In Da Club”April 10, 2026Best-Selling Rappers Of All Time Worldwide Have Been RevealedApril 10, 2026Dr. Dre Officially Reaches Billionaire Status: Eminem Reflects on his PerfectionismApril 10, 2026 EminemToken
