Mark Wahlberg: Millyz & Token are Next; Eminem is GOAT

Posted on March 16, 2026 By Remy Gelenidze

While leaving lunch with friends at E. Baldi in Beverly Hills, Mark Wahlberg took a moment for a spontaneous interview with The Hollywood Fix. When the interviewer pressed him on who holds the title of the best white rapper, the Boston-bred superstar was quick to steer the conversation toward his hometown roots.

Wahlberg immediately shouted out Millyz and Token, seemingly surprised the interviewer wasn’t already familiar with them. “Millyz, you don’t know Millyz?” he asked, championing the two Massachusetts artists as the premier voices coming out of the East Coast right now.

Despite his local pride, Wahlberg made sure to give credit where it’s due regarding the genre’s history. He explicitly labeled Eminem as the “GOAT,” acknowledging that while the Detroit legend holds the all-time throne, Millyz and Token are undoubtedly “the next guys” to watch.

To wrap up his picks, Mark offered a final nod to JaYy Wick, noting that he is also “good.” It was a brief but telling glimpse into Wahlberg’s current playlist, proving that despite his massive Hollywood success, he remains deeply tuned into the rising stars of the rap scene.
