Aftermath producer Fredwreck — the man behind hits for Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, 50 Cent, Ice Cube, Britney Spears, and more — has recently joined Habibi House podcast where he talked about Eminem’s legendary work ethic and rhyme books and said Eminem didn’t use AI on The Death Of Slim Shady album in which he produced two tracks “Trouble” and “Guilty Conscience 2” and engineered two tracks “Lucifer” and “Houdini.”
“Eminem is just great to work with and one of the best things about him is that he’s so dedicated to what he does. Even though he’s the GOAT, he’s the student of hip-hop. He knows every rap lyrics, every song from Sugar Hill Gang on out. And that is inspiring. He’s in that book everyday writing. He’s that kid with rhyme book. He carries backpack stacked with rhyme books. He’s so dedicated and inspiring. He’s the greatest of all time.” said Fredwreck.
Then he continued: “The Death of Slim Shady is probably one of his favorite records. Who would have thought he’s kill himself on his own record? People were hitting me up, like ‘is that AI?’ I’m like, ‘no, that’s him doing it! He’s doing the old voice himself. That’s not studio tricks.”
