YoungBoy Never Broke Again also know as NBA YoungBoy is among a few rappers who achieved massive streaming and viewing numbers in 2022 while remaining nearly invisible to the pop establishment.
NBA YoungBoy is the archetype for this phenomenon. His total streaming numbers are second to only Drake’s among all artists, and yet he is hidden. He has no radio presence. He isn’t even in the Top 20 on Billboard’s year-end artists list. Nor is he one of Spotify’s Top 5 most-streamed artists in the United States.
In 2022, The Baton Rouge-born rapper broke Eminem’s record for most solo music videos with over 100 million views on YouTube and now he shared Eminem’s “The Wash” movie scenes to his 12 million subscribers. In the caption, NBA wrote: “Good morning a–holes!”
“The Wash” is a 2001 American comedy movie written, produced and directed by DJ Pooh and starring Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and DJ Pooh, with guest appearances by Eminem, Ludacris, Kurupt, Shaquille O’Neal, Xzibit and Pauly Shore. The film was released on November 16, 2001.
Some fans thought YoungBoy was hinting on Eminem collaborations and some think he’s an Eminem fan and most of them didn’t even care. Check out couple of reactions below and tell us, would you want NBA and Slim Shady collab?!
