Royce 5’9″ shares his thoughts on Eminem’s role in 50 Cent’s “BMF” as White Boy Rick

Royce 5’9″ has recently set down with Lando Bando on TheHipHop Lab where the two discussed many things, including Eminem’s cameo in 50 Cent’s “Black Mafia Family” TV show.

“I love the BMF series. I didn’t go into it expecting anything in particular cause I never knew anything about Meech anyway or the vague stories that I heard in the past. That’s not my generation so all of that s**t is interesting to me. The best part about the series to me is little Meech. He’s doing magnificent job.”

“That Em episode. That’s funny. Man, that s**t went by so fast. I wonder why he didn’t play bigger part. They could have figured out a way to work with White Boy Rick into there. I didn’t know Eminem is going to be in that one. Maybe Meech and White Boy Rick encounter was just brief. I don’t know. I thought he was gonna bump him into prison or some s**t but it’s dope though.” says Royce.

50 Cent says Eminem did not actually shave his beard for BMF cameo

50 Cent has recently done an interview with Entertainment Weekly where he talked about seventh episode of Black Mafia Family, directed by himself. In the 7th episode, Eminem makes cameo as a White Boy Rick.

“When Eminem found out I was directing, he committed to do it, and working together was natural. It was an honor to have him on the show and it made this episode extra special.”

“The technology that they used to de-age him was the same thing they used in Robert De Niro’s The Irishman movie. Em actually has a beard, so they first took the hair out of his face using the technology and then they de-aged him all the way down.” said Fifty.

50 Cent thanks Eminem for BMF appearance & gets mad at Starz for delaying his episode

Today, Episode 7 of BMF aired on STARZ but few days earlier it was announced that the episode was delayed until November 21 which, of course, killed the anticipation.

Episode 7 is directed by 50 Cent, who expressed his disappointment on social media but on the other hand showed his love and gratefulness to Eminem.

“Episode 7 of BMF is the best work I have done directing to date. I am disappointed that STARZ handled this so poorly. I used my personal relationships to make things happen they could not have made happen. Eminem thank you for doing this for me. I love you bro, you know I’m rolling wit you till the wheels fall off.” said Fifty.

In another post, Fiddy went harder on Starz: “Starz is a s**t show, they better sell it fast. They put the f**king BMF show on, then took it down. What network does s**t like that? They just ruined the anticipation of The episode I directed, I WORKED HARD ON THIS. I can not work with these people anymore.”

Eminem appears on 50 Cent’s “BMF” as White Boy Rick

Black Mafia Family (BMF) is a 50 Cent-produced TV Show about two brothers who rose from the decaying streets of southwest Detroit in the late 1980’s and gave birth to one of the most influential crime families in the country.

Few hours ago, the Episode 7 of BMF aired on Starz, which is directed by 50 Cent himself.

In the episode, Eminem makes cameo as a White Boy Rick, who was the youngest FBI informant at the age of 14 and was imprisoned when at 16. White Boy Rick spent 32 years in prison and was released this year.

Eminem is transformed back to a teenager using the same techniques used to de-age Robert DeNiro in 2019’s “The Irishman.”

Real-life ‘White Boy Rick’ reacts on Eminem portraying him in 50 Cent’s “BMF” TV Series

Richard Wershe Jr., also know as “White Boy Rick,” who became FBI informant at the age of 14 and later was sentenced 30 years in prison, says he is honored that Eminem will be portraying him in 50 Cent’s upcoming TV Series, “Black Mafia Family.”

“Of course, it’s Eminem so that’s an honor to have him portray me in a series. He was actually one of the first people that was looking at doing the movie about me so it’s pretty cool that later down the line, he gets to take on this role.”

When asked what kind of advice he would give to Eminem for the role, Rick said that he doesn’t think he needs to give the Detroit legend any tips, claiming that he’s a professional: “I don’t think I have to tell him anything at all. He is professional. Everything he does, he does very well. His music, it speaks for itself. He is an icon, he is a legend. This, for him, will be a small thing. I think he will kill it whatever he does. I’m a fan. It’s an honor to have him do it. He is a Detroit legend. I have a huge name here, so from one Detroiter to another…just kill it!” – said Wershe.
