Twista says Eminem owes him a verse

Twista has recently stopped by HipHopDX for an interview to talk about his fastest bars, his legendary career, the anniversary of his critically acclaimed, multi-platinum and Billboard No.1 album Kamikaze (2004) and much more. At one point of the interview, the interviewer jokingly asked something about Eminem.

Interviewer: I was also gonna ask, Has Em sent over a free feature verse for stealing SEO clout on your album title yet? [meaning Kamikaze]
Twista: Nah, he need to. He owes me a verse on the song now. For that to happen [Laughs].

Interviewer: When you saw that, were you like ‘ah, c’mon, not again’ cause it happened with Common too. There was at least some back and forth about the album title.
Twista: Yeah, but it happens man. It happens. That’s something that I had to learn in hip-hop. You know, early on you would swear a person is concentrating on you, your little a-s when you doing it. But that thing happens man. So, like I said, I’m still a fan.

Even though hip-hop fans have been asking for it forever, Twista and Eminem have never worked together before. But better late than never, right?… Watch the new interview below:

Kid Capri says Eminem is hated cause he does “black stuff” better

During a recent interview on Audacy’s Hip-Hop Made podcast with host Mike Street, Kid Capri talked about his favorite rappers and how the majority of people decide on their Top 5 hip-hop artists.

The New York City DJ and rapper discussed how he believes that Eminem is denigrated because he is white and that he raps better than those who hate on him.

“Everybody goes by the popularity of the person instead of the real skill set. Everybody keep going at Eminem because he’s white. You’re mad because he’s doing Black stuff better than you are. Like 50 said. That’s what it is. The boy is nice, you can’t take that from him. Wisely use his name in your mouth every time. That boy is nice. You can not f–k with him on stage at all. ” said Kid Capri.

50 Cent said something similar years ago to defend Slim Shady from haters: “Hip Hop is Black music, without question, and, unfortunately for some people, it’s tough to accept that you have a White artist that does it better than Black artists.”

This is not the first time Capri made statements in defense of Eminem. During an interview with HipHopDX last year, he explained how Lil Pump dissing Eminem inspired his latest album, The Love.

“That was just one of the things that did inspire,” Capri said at the time. “I got tired of seeing the younger dudes thinking that the older people ain’t capable. Like we ain’t been here building this business from the ground up from day one.

Then he continued: “Sometimes, it is the truth. A lot of older people, they get out of touch. They don’t want the younger people to come in and do their thing, and it be just back and forth exchange.

“But when I watch Lil Pump disrespect a dude that became the Elvis of Hip Hop, this dude that sold millions and millions of records, created opportunities for so many people and is one of the greatest MCs on the planet, for him to just disrespect him like that, we losing our respect level.” he added.

Twista answers “Tech N9ne or Eminem” & “Busta Rhymes or Eminem” questions on Drink Champs

Twista has recently visited NORE and DJ EFN on Drink Champs where the three played QuickTime of Slime game during their almost 2 hours interview.

The rules of the game are as following: NORE asks the guest tough questions with two choices, if the guest answers with “both” he drinks. If he comes out with one of the choices, he does not.

One of the questions was, Eminem or Busta Rhymes.

It seems, it was too hard to answer for Twista, so he drank: “Damn, I have to take a shot.”

Twista had a hard time choosing between Tech N9ne and Eminem too when DJ EFN asked so he drank it too. “Nah, you gotta drink on that one. These are my brothers and its actually hard to choose. They go hard man.”

Twista is down to do an EP with Eminem after Rock The Bell’s tweet

Yesterday, LL Cool J’s radio station, Rock The Bells, tweeted Eminem’s “Godzilla” challenge video alongside Twista’s ‘challenged accepted’ clip.

In the caption, they wrote: “Eminem is nice with the syllables, but Twista is and always will be in his own stratosphere. Might be time for a collab EP, just sayin’.”

Twista took a screenshot of the tweet and shared it on his Instagram with the caption: “What would the name of the ep be called???”

Most of the fans replied with “TWISTEM” in the comments.
