Will Rihanna bring out Eminem at 2023 Super Bowl? Skylar Grey teases, Yahoo predicts

Super Bowl LVII is right around the corner with Kansas City Chiefs preparing to take on Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona and fans are eagerly waiting to see the special guests that Rihanna is supposedly to invite at this year’s event.

Back in September 2022, the National Football League, Apple Music and  Roc Nation announced that Rihanna will be headlining the halftime show for Super Bowl LVII.

Rihanna is a generational talent, a woman of humble beginnings who has surpassed expectations at every turn. A person born on the small island of Barbados who became one of the most prominent artists ever. Self-made in business and entertainment,” said Jay-Z in a statement who managed to make Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar and Anderson .Paak to perform at the last year’s event.

As Yahoo predicts, Eminem might appear for the second time on the biggest stage: “Rihanna will most likely keep the details of her performance under wraps, but she does have hit songs with artists such as Eminem, Drake and Calvin Harris.” – we read in a statement.

Skylar Grey, who originally wrote “Love The Way You Lie” chorus for Eminem, has recently put up Rihanna’s Super Bowl teaser video on her Instagram story with the caption: “Wonder if she’ll do Love The Way You Lie.” She also recently posted a picture of her wearing a t-shirt with “I Love The Way You Lie” written on it and tagged Eminem and Rihanna on the post. Is Skyar hinting on something or is it just her wish the music superstars to perform her most iconic single to date?

Other song options for Rihanna and Eminem are: “Love The Way You Lie (Part II),” which they performed at the 2011 Grammy Awards, “Numb” which was the opening song for their The Monster Tour in 2014 and “The Monster” which they performed at The Concert for Valor in the same year.

Dr. Dre reacts to Rihanna headlining Super Bowl 2023, fans want Riri to bring out Eminem

Rihanna has been announced as the performer at next year’s Super Bowl LVII halftime show and the legendary producer Dr. Dre has some advices to a Billionaire mega star.

Yesterday, Rihanna confirmed via her Instagram she would be following in Dre’s footsteps as the headliner of the NFL’s biggest event of the year.

The Aftermath founder has recently talked with Ebro Darden on Apple Music’s Beats 1, where he spoke about the big news: “Oh, my God. Let me tell you something, man. I actually just got the news that Rihanna’s going to do it and I am a super fan of Rihanna. I can not wait to see what she is going to do.” said Dre.

Then he continued: “I just like her and what she does and her get down and how she approaches her artistry and the whole nine. It is fantastic. She] has the opportunity to really blow us away. I know we set the bar extremely high.”

Dre also offered some advice. “Put the right people around you and have fun. That is basically what it is. Making sure you have the right creative people around you. All of these people came through for me and everybody was extremely enthusiastic about the show. We had a good time, although it is a lot of things and a lot of people you have to depend on. So it is an extreme amount of pressure, but it is fun at the same time. When it is done, it is like goosebumps, bro. I got goosebumps, especially from the reaction that we got from the show, and especially being able to do the show with all of my friends.”

Dr. Dre’s Pepsi Super Bowl LVI halftime show performance in February, which featured Eminem, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige and Anderson .Paak, won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Variety Special (Live) earlier this month.

After the announcement, some of the fans stormed the social media, hoping Riri to bring out Eminem for the two mega hits they have made during the last decade: “Love The Way You Lie” and “The Monster.” Check some reactions below:
