The Chronic was released back in December 15, 1992,  under Death Row Records/Interscope and it peaked at No. 3 on The US Billboard 200 and has spent 97 weeks on the chart since its release. The album also spawned three top 40 hits on the Hot 100, including top 10 records with “Nuthin’ But a “G” Thang” (No. 2) featuring Snoop Dogg. Rolling Stone placed The Chronic on its 500 Greatest Albums of All-Time List, noting the album “redefined the West Coast Hip Hop sound.”

Eminem’s “Is This Love” song with 50 Cent produced by Dr. Dre, Trevor Lawrence Jr. and Mark Batson, is an unreleased song from 2009, most likely recorded for Relapse: Refill or Relapse 2, yet was kept in the vault due to the negative reviews from critics. Ahead of his Shady Records debut, the Buffalo rapper also dropped a surprise mixtape called “Greetings Earthlings,” in which Conway spits some bars over Kanye West, Baby Keem, Nicki Minaj, Big Sean, Young Thug and others instrumentals.

“Just being able to create and get mentorship from Eminem… that’s one of my favorite artists of all time. So going into it I’m just excited about having Eminem as a big brother. That pretty much sold and sealed the deal for me. Sometimes it can be a lot of pressure when you sign to a major label. It was important to me to still be able to feed my diehard fans and my core audience but still show some sort of growth. The approach was pretty much the same, I just had those pressures in the back of my mind.” told Conway to Zane Lowe in a recent interview on Beats 1.
