Phresher says Eminem calling him was best day of his life

Phresher, who has collaborated with Eminem on “Chloraseptic” and “Chloraseptic (Remix)” from Revival album, has recently sat down on Conversations With Zo’s Episode 137 where the Brooklyn rapper revealed that the best day of his life music-wise was teaming up with Slim Shady.

“When it comes to music-wise, the best day of my life is clearly an Eminem call cause it was more than money. Eminem is the guy to look up to. My favorite rappers, Jay-Z and Eminem, all day. Anybody can tell you that. So, to get a call from your favorite rapper and he wants you on his album. That’s not real bro! That’s not real! That’s not supposed to happen.” said Phresher.

Then he continues: “He was like ‘yo, call me Marshall.’ I’m like ‘Yo, call me Marshall? WHAT’ It was crazy man, that was not real. And then performing with him, at Governor’s Ball, and he rapping my s–t. You see that, you can go look at that. He adlib my show, this is not normal! I’m a kid from Brooklyn, he’s from Detroit. We are not supposed to link like that. That’s crazy man.”

Phresher passionately talks about Eminem with Math Hoffa

Phresher, who worked with Eminem on “Chloraseptic” song from Revival album, has recently sat down with Math Hoffa on My Expert Opinion podcast where he talked about how the song came together.

“That was a life-changing moment. Em and Jay share the same place in my heart. I was like only ni**a in the hood who was an Eminem fan.” said Phresher but Math Hoffa interfered “You was not the only one,” implying that he was Eminem fan too.

Then Phresher continues: “Them ni**gas were like ‘Eminem? Hi My Name Is?’ I was like, ‘listen to the album, you understand its bigger than Slim Shady. My mom knew I was on punishment and she slipped the Marshall Mathers LP under my motherf**kin’ door.”

“[In 2017] My manager called me and told me ‘you might wanna sit down.’ That ni**a said ‘Eminem wants you on his album.’ I get phone calls like ‘you might be on somebody’s album. Send me a record’ but he said ‘EMINEM WANTS YOU ON HIS ALBUM. HE NEEDS YOU TO SAY ‘THIS’.”

“Then they put me on a phone with Em and he asked me ‘you got a verse?’ I said ‘WHAT?! DO I HAVE A VERSE, F**K YOU MEAN DO I HAVE A VERSE?! [Laughs] I get in and I did my motherf**kin verse then he calls me again. He said ‘thank you’ and ‘call me Marshall’, I’m like ‘YO WHAT THE F**K, YOU ARE EMINEM!'”

“Then Tracy calls me and tells me ‘Em wants you to perform at Governors Ball with him.’ He is the last act of the f**king night bro. It’s me, 50 Cent, Eminem… It was epic. A hundred thousand people out there and this ni**a is saying my verse, ad-libbing my s**t. You go to YouTube or Google it. That s**t is on YouTube. I’m like in your wildest dreams, you can’t make the s**t up like that.” said Phresher.
