Eminem has new record entered in Guinness book of world records 2021

Eminem now has one more Guinness World Record on his belt.

The 2021 edition of Guinness World Records book Eminem will be added as the only artists in history to have most consecutive No.1 album on US Billboard 200 charts.

In the book we read: “Rapper Eminem (b. Marshall Mathers III, USA) secured his 10th first week chart topper on the US Billboard 200 albums charts when Music To Be Murdered By hit the No.1 spot for the week dated Feb. 1, 2020. This is also the most consecutive No.1s on the US albums chart.”

Eminem sets new record on Billboard 200 charts

After recently setting a new record on Spotify, as The Slim Shady LP (1999) surpassed 1 billion streams on the platform, making Eminem the only artists in history to have 11 albums with +1 billion streams each, Slim Shady is back with yet another record, this time, on Billboard charts.

Eminem latest offering ‘Music To Be Murdered By’ re-entered this week’s Billboard 200 and completed a milestone, 100th week on the chart.

The Detroit legend becomes the first rapper in history to have 7 albums chart for at least 100 weeks each on the Billboard 200.

1. Curtain Call: The Hits – 561 weeks 

2. The Eminem Show – 396 weeks 

3. Recovery – 320 weeks 

4. The Marshall Mathers LP 2 – 189 weeks 

5. The Marshall Mathers LP – 171 weeks 

6. The Slim Shady LP – 105 weeks

7. Music To Be Murdered By – 100 weeks 

8. Relapse – 90 weeks

9. Kamikaze – 73 weeks

10. Encore – 54 weeks

11. Revival – 31 weeks

12. Infinite – 0 weeks

As you can see, The Eminem Show is very close to 400 weeks and Relapse is close to 100 weeks.

BREAKING: Eminem sets historical record with The Eminem Show

Eminem classic album, The Eminem Show, which was released back in 2002, has now sold 11 million pure copies in the United States, making the Detroit legend to be the first artist in history to have two albums with +11 million pure copies sold in the country.

The other album which already surpassed this accolade is 2000 album, The Marshall Mathers LP which is close to 12 million pure copies in the United States.

Upon its release, The Eminem Show debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and stood there for six non-consecutive weeks. It sold over 1.3 million copies in its second week in the US, where it registered a full week of sales.
