Eminem says he’s working on new music, threatens Ben Johnson with diss song if he leaves Detroit Lions

A head of San Francisco 49ers and Detroit Lions game, Eminem visited DJ Whoo Kid on Shade 45 radio where he talked about the game and revealed that he’s currently working on some new music.

“I never thought in my lifetime that I would ever even see this. I didn’t realize how good the team actually was and when we beat Kansas City in the first game I was like BRO! F–king Goff…It’s the whole f–king team. Everything is clicking right now. I love Stafford man. I love what Stafford did for us when he was here but bro, Goff is, he’s f–king surgical.” said Eminem.

Then he continued: “If Deebo don’t play, it’d be so great [Laughs]. Does he not feel good or something? I don’t know if he really wants to test that shoulder and injure it more. 49ers are great team and they really gonna be hard to beat. I’m so into what’s going on right now, I can’t even think about anything else. This is taking precedence over my entire life right now. We went to championship game 32 years ago. But we only won one playoff game back then. There were less games. We have never gotten this far. I know it’s a championship game but we never won two playoff games and we are so close bro. I have to be there. There is no f–king way I’m not gonna be there and I just saw today that Ben Johnson might be going to [Washington] Commanders and if he leaves us bro…Ben Johnson, if you leave us, diss record is coming! Diss song is coming!”

Then DJ Whoo Kid asked about the new music, on which, Slim Shady replied: “Absolutely nothing. Nah man, I’m working on little something.” You can listen to the interview below:

Avril Lavigne recalls meeting Eminem backstage at 2002 MTV VMA

After more than two decades in the music industry, Avril Lavigne has shaped a career and image uniquely her own. As the 39-year-old Canadian singer recalled in her rETrospective, it was that way from the start, down to the bag of personal accessories she brought along to her first photo shoots. She also recalled meeting Eminem for the first time backstage at 2002 MTV Video Music Awards.

“This was my first award show… We are backstage and it is like a million people around and Eminem walking up to me and like shaking my hand. Meeting him and him knowing who I was and walking towards me, saying ‘what’s up’ and shaking my hand and he’s like ‘yo, I respect you, your music’s cool.’ I almost s–t in my pants. I was like ‘WHAT IS HAPPENING?!'” – said Avril Lavigne.

The 2002 MTV Video Music Awards aired live on August 29, 2002. The show was hosted by Jimmy Fallon at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Eminem was most awarded artist at the show as Slim Shady took 4 awards to home, including Video Of The Year, Best Male Video, Best Rap Video and Best Direction In The Video for “Without Me,” which was directed by Joseph Kahn.

Em was also nominated for Best Editing in a Video and Viewer’s Choice but lost to The White Stripes and Michelle Branch. That night, Eminem also performed two singles, “White America” and “Cleanin’ Out My Closet” from his blockbuster album, The Eminem Show.

Coi Leray responds Eminem’s namedrop on “Doomsday Pt. 2”

Cole Bennett and Lyrical Lemonade have released their much anticipated compilations album All Is Yellow, which includes a song “Doomsday Pt. 2” by Eminem, produced by 22-year old Portland native rapper, singer and producer, Daniyel. The song is directed mainly at Benzino and his daughter Coi Leray.

In the song, Eminem makes fun of Benzino: “Now I got a riddle (What?), one condition, you mustn’t laugh (Okay)/What is the opposite of Benzino? (Uh, what?)/A giraffe (Haha), Go at his neck, how the f**k is that? (Yeah)/How can I go at somethin’ he doesn’t have? (Haha)/Arm so short he can’t even touch his hands/When they’re up above his head doin’ jumpin’ jacks (Wow).”

Eminem goes even further and claims that Benzino is broke and lives in motels with gay men. Slim Shady also throws Benzino’s daughter Coi Leray under the bus for good measure. “Well, I guess then I regret to inform you, hate to spoil the day (What?)/But this doesn’t bring me no joy to say (Huh?)/Guess that Coi Leray feat’s in the toilet, ayy? (Goddamn),” he raps.

Coi has recently spoke about her father’s beef with Eminem in an interview with Math Hoffa on My Expert Opinion, where she claimed that she’s a grown woman, and she doesn’t want to get involved in any way in her father’s beef. In the same interview, Coi Leray said that even though she likes Eminem, she would never do a song with him out of respect for Benzino, this is why Em says that the Coi Leray feature is in the toilet, meaning that a song between the two is never happening.

Coi Leray has just responded Eminem on X (Twitter), sharing a short clip of her latest single with the caption: “Man who the hell said I wanted a Eminem feature ?? Imagine Eminem on Wanna Come Thru?” Then she added another tweet: There’s no way I’m about to entertain these grown a– men and the beef they been having for over 20years . Lmao it’s so stupid all I can do is laugh. 2 decades later ?? gtfoh im grown. Move along. Go Stream my s–t.” Check the tweets below:

New Song: Lyrical Lemonade & Eminem – “Doomsday Pt. 2”

“Doomsday Pt. 2” by Eminem from Cole Bennett and Lyrical Lemonade compilation album, All Is Yellow, is out now! The song is produced by Daniyel and John Nocito with the original “Role Model” production coming from Eminem, Luis Resto, Mel-Man and Dr. Dre.

In the song, Eminem makes fun of Benzino, who has been dissing Slim Shady in the last few years. “Now I got a riddle, one condition, you mustn’t laugh, what is the opposite of Benzino? A giraffe, “Go at his neck,” how the f–k is that? How can I go at somethin’ he doesn’t have?” Eminem raps in the song.

Eminem employs a riddle to draw a comparison between his old rival, Benzino, and a giraffe, an animal known for its distinctively long neck. This riddle cleverly references a moment back in 2010 when Eminem, during the filming of “Not Afraid” behind the scenes, was ironically asked what he feared, to which he humorously responded with “Giraffes.”

By posing the riddle and asserting that the opposite of Benzino is a giraffe, Eminem is essentially saying that Benzino is not, and has never been, a source of fear for him. This is reinforced by the punchline that Benzino has no neck—a playful exaggeration suggesting there’s nothing there for Eminem to attack, both literally and metaphorically.

The line “Go at his neck,” a common phrase in rap that typically means to verbally attack someone fiercely, is turned on its head with Eminem’s retort, “How can I go at somethin’ he doesn’t have.” Here, Eminem is not just making a physical joke at Benzino’s expense but also implying that Benzino is not a worthy opponent in a rap battle. The joke about Benzino’s lack of a neck is used to underscore the point that Eminem feels there’s nothing to attack because Benzino poses no real threat or challenge to him.

The giraffe metaphor serves a dual purpose: it recalls a personal joke from Eminem’s past, thus connecting it to his larger narrative, and it functions as a tool to diminish Benzino’s reputation in the rap community. Eminem’s use of this comparison to a giraffe, which is known for its long neck, to claim that Benzino has none, is a classic example of his complex lyricism and sharp wit. This is a testament to Eminem’s skill in integrating personal anecdotes, and humor and dissing his rivals within his music. (via Genius).

Em continues bashing Benzino and mentions his daughter Coi Leray: “Arm so short he can’t even touch his hands / When they’re up above his head doin’ jumpin’ jacks (Wow) / Sorry, I don’t mean (What?) to upset you, Ben’ (Yeah) / When I talk about (What?) all the debt you in (Uh) / I hear that you been (What?) creepin’ on the low / In them cheap hotels (Yeah), that they catch you in (What?) / Jesus Christ, dawg (Damn), when you said two-ten (What?) / Never guessed you meant (Damn) at the Red Roof Inn (Shit) / In a room with one single bed, two men (What?) / Shady, man, you can’t—, yes, you can / Well, I guess then I regret to inform you, hate to spoil the day (What?) / But this doesn’t bring me no joy to say (Huh?) / Guess that Coi Leray feat’s in the toilet, ayy?

Red Roof Inn is an American economy hotel chain in the United States with over 600 properties globally, primarily in the Midwest, Southern, and Eastern United States. Benzino has been reportedly kicked out of the hotel and allegedly sleeping with another man. Several rumours have been spread that Benzino is gay after he has reportedly “told the LGBTQ+ community to stop flirting with him.”

At the end of the verse, Eminem also shouts out J. Cole and Dr. Dre’s label Aftermath: “I’m back with Cole Bennett, And I been at the level J. Cole been at, It’s Aftermath that I ride for ’til I die.” Em has previously mentioned and praised J. Cole’s skills in the numerous interviews and Cole has named Eminem as one of his biggest influences. Even though there is much mutual respect between the two rappers, they have never released a song together.

Em also reminded everyone who had the best verse on Drake’s 2009 single, “Forever,” which also features Lil Wayne and Kanye West: “I’m not tryna be controversial, I’d rather, Talk about s–t with the purpose that matters, Like who had second best verse on “Forever”?” It’s popular consensus that Eminem laid the best verse on “Forever,”. Em is suggesting people to discuss who had the second best verse on a song, because you know who belongs the best title. Kanye West also previously revealed that when he first heard Em’s verse, it made him cancel appointments to rewrite his verse.

Travis Kelce calls The Eminem Show one of the greatest albums of all time & his brother reveals fate of the CD

Travis and Jason Kelce’s father, Ed, may be a Taylor Swift fan, but he’s definitely not a fan of Eminem! During the most recent episode of their podcast called New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, the American football brothers revealed a childhood incident that saw their dad dispose of their newly acquired Eminem CD.

Travis Kelce: Absolutely electric game up there in Detroit. Kind of mentioned it before, Eminem on Jumbotron, singing “Lose Yourself.” Oh god, fired me up.
Jason Kelce: Brings you back to the first CD you ever owned.
Travis Kelce: The Eminem Show baby. The intro to that albums, the curtains…
Jason Kelce: Well, you know what happened to that CD though. Do you remember?
Travis Kelce: I don’t.
Jason Kelce: You bought the CD and dad got into the car, after you bought that CD and he took it out and threw it out of the window. I can’t believe you don’t remember this. One of the funniest things I ever saw happened. You started hearing some of the words everyday. He was like ‘What the f–k is this’ and he threw it out of the window. I remember that like it was yesterday. He was not fan of something like this.
Travis Kelce: F–k you, dad! Hi kids, do you wanna watch me stick nine-inch nails through each one of my eyelids?… Good Lordy, whoadie, you must be gone off that water bottle. That’s pretty good s–t right there. Shout out to Eminem and The Eminem Show, one of the greatest albums of all time. Slim Shady, please stand up!

Young Zee claims he is responsible for Eminem’s skillset

Young Zee, a key member of the hip-hop group Outsidaz, has recently declared his pivotal role in shaping Eminem’s high level rapping skills. During a recent interview with Off the Cuff Radio, the New Jersey hip-hop artist described his mentorship of Slim Shady in the late 90s, claiming to have played a significant part in the birth of Marshall Mather’s extraordinary rapping abilities.

In the interview, Young Zee shared a conversation with hip-hop legend KRS-One, who, acknowledging Eminem as a rap god, posed the question. “You can’t just call KRS-One and tell him ‘yo let me get on your album,’ you can’t call Eminem and be like ‘let me get on your album’. He gonna be like ‘who the f–k is you.’ But these rappers called me. KRS-One called me, Eminem called me. Redman called me. Masta Ace called me. All these rappers called me to be on their s–t. That must mean something. KRS-One told me if Eminem is a god of rap what does that make you?’ Basically it’s true.” said Young Zee.

Then he continued: “When I was f**king with Eminem… First of all, he was just a little fat white kid. I started working with him. He was rhyming, of course. But when he came to Jersey and stayed at my house, we started perfecting his skills. So basically, I birthed his new skills. And so, that’s why KRS-One said that to me. Nobody can’t take that away. They try and hide the files, but they can’t take it away. I was there.”

Eminem shouts out the Outsidaz at the end of the song “Just Don’t Give a F–k”, in the beginning of “Cum On Everybody”, and in the songs “As the World Turns” and “I’m Shady”, all of which were released on his major-label solo debut The Slim Shady LP. He also acknowledges them in a track titled “Till Hell Freezes Over” which was intended to be on the album.

A rift developed between Eminem and Tha Outsidaz when Young Zee and Pace Won each recorded verses alongside Bizarre for the ‘Amityville’ track on Eminem’s major label sophomore, The Marshall Mathers LP. Dr. Dre complained that Eminem had too many guests on the album, so Pace Won and Young Zee’s verses were removed from the track. In a 2015 interview, Pace Won indicated that the original version of the track was probably permanently erased. In 2014, Eminem’s Shady Records label released Shady XV, a compilation album which featured a track titled, “Fine Line” by Eminem. On the song, he performs a verse showing his appreciation for the group (specifically Pacewon and Young Zee).

Battle rappers react after Mickey Factz says Eminem can beat anyone

Mickey Factz has recently shaken the battle rap world. Couple of days ago, the New York City MC tweeted that Slim Shady will not lose to any battle rapper if he comes back to the battle rap scene: “Eminem in a battle on any league wouldn’t lose. To anybody on his return. 100% winning in the building. The polls would also be broken. Just a fact of life.”

Few hours later, Mickey Factz received backlash from battle rappers and their fans, but some of them agreed. John John DaDon replied: “Saying Eminem can’t be beat in a battle by an active battle rapper is like saying Dirk Nowitzki could come back & win MVP right now! Probably the best rhymer of all time but bar for bar ni–as would pack him! The gas won’t help him.”

Real Deal also responded: “Do people think Eminem is going to show up to a battle rap stage and say “My bum is on your lips my bum is on your lips”. Again, he is going to rap. You won’t surely stand a chance to beat him on the polls or in a venue that you can pack out. Your only chance is a small room and even then how do you prove you “beat” him.”

Yunus also weighed in: “Imma keep it a stack, and this is probably the unpopular opinion, Eminem cookin at least 90% of battle rappers. Go listen to that KILLSHOT track he had for MGK and tell me that ain’t enough proof.”

Then Real Sikh entered the conversation: “Eminem prolly my FAVORITE, He’s an alien wit rhymin, and if he battled he would have some s–t! BUT, not for 3 rounds. It’s different when 20 mins passed and its only round 2, you tired and gotta keep up personality, projection, energy, lyricism AND be digestible.”

On that, LOSO replied: “Bro … i get what you’re trying to say … but 90% of the fans in that room won’t know what a PG or a crucible is lol. They literally will be Eminem fans. So on a technical, Battle rap era, 2024 lens sense … yea he would lose. But in all reality, He won’t lol.”

A.Ward also shared his opinion: “I definitely think Eminem could beat 95% of Yall. Not me though lol.” On that, Mike P replied: “My exact thoughts. “maybe y’all””

The Saurus said: “I dunno why the “if Eminem did a battle” convo has resurfaced but I’m definitely going back to sleep to avoid hearing it.”

During a recent in Clubhouse, Aye Verb said: “Can Eminem rap words with anybody on the planet? Yes. Can he fight against our top fighters? No. Impossible. I know some people who wanna challenge that theory but you shouldn’t cause I’m god here. That won’t happen. Not our dangerous frontline guys but anybody else? Absolutely. He’s phenomenal rapper but battle MC is not the same thing.” On which Yoshi responded: “I disagree. That’s Eminem. I got him smoking pretty much everybody. He’s amazing.”

Later, Mickey Factz and battle rapper Jay Blac did an interview with Threeletterman3 and Jay basically agreed what Mickey Said. You can check entire thing in the video below:

Taylor Swift fans aren’t happy about Eminem’s warm reception at Lions game

Pop and country music superstar Taylor Swift has faced a lot of criticism from football fans about the attention she gets when she attends Kansas City Chiefs games. But on Sunday, Swifties (a fandom of Taylor Swift) started fighting back by noting the warm response to Eminem’s presence at Ford Field stadium during a game between the Detroit Lions and the Los Angeles Rams.

Ever since Taylor started dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, she has been spotted watching the games in person ― to the point where the practice of TV cameras cutting away to her has spurred some criticism.

Few days ago, Swift responded the criticism, saying: “I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads…There’s a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once.”

Late last week, former Nation Football League coach Tony Dungy told Fox News that the coverage of Taylor Swift’s attendance at Kansas City Chiefs games might be “disenchanting people with sports now,” and claimed that “there’s so much on the outside coming in ― entertainment value and different things taking away from what really happens on the field.”

Unlike Taylor, Eminem received a massive love from football players and fans to commentators and sport journalists last night at Ford Field during a historic match between the Detroit Lions and the Los Angeles Rams and that’s where the mockery began.

“The same MAGATs who cry Taylor Swift (female) is ruining football (by simply being there and cheering) are strangely quiet about Eminem (male) being there and cheering! The crowd of 65,000 loved it, singing Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” at the Rams/Lions game.” One user said on X, formerly known as Twitter. Another said: “Why is it okay for Eminem to rock out and cheer at NFL games, but if Taylor Swift does it, it’s distracting? #Swifties.” Someone said: “They’ve cut to Eminem multiple times I wonder why no one’s complaining.”

Football and Eminem fans also responded to the debate with someone saying: “Em was Born & raised in Detroit. Lifelong Lions fan. Reppin his team in Detroit at a home game. Swift is not a football fan but a celebrity getting coverage for wrong reasons. Another said: “He’s a Lions fan from Detroit, this game was in Detroit. Of course he’s going to get cheered. She got booed in New England for supporting KC (the road team). Of course she’s going to get booed. It truly is not more complicated than this and is not a story (and I like Taylor).” One user said: “Showing Eminem on the tv is not running football. Eminem was a fan before he was famous. He is not like Taylor Swift who slept with a player and then started watching football.”

Rafael Leão says one Eminem song best describes his career at AC Milan

AC Milan superstar Rafael Leão was recently interviewed by Sky Sports Italia. During the conversation, The Portuguese striker and winger spoke about his passion towards football and music and named Eminem‘s “Not Afraid” as his soundtrack for his Italian career.

Interviewer: There’s a reason why we’re in this studio, do you want to talk about music or football?
Rafael Leão: They are my two great passions, we talk about everything you want. They are the two things that give me the opportunity to express my emotions . On the pitch with a smile and with music through words. I tell people to never give up. Entering San Siro with the ball and wearing the Milan shirt is always a joy.”

Interviewer: How did your passion for music come about?
Rafael Leão: “I’ve always had it. My father was a singer, my uncle was a DJ . I’ve been into music since I was little. I started writing and singing in quarantine because I was at home so much. For me, who’s shy , this helped to bring out emotions in difficult moments. That’s how I started.”

Interviewer: A song from your career at Milan?
Rafael Leão: Eminem’s “Not Afraid.” I like the rhythm and I like the words. I wasn’t afraid to be able to win and to show everyone what I was worth. I had to wait for the right moment to grow and seize my opportunity.”

Diamond selling single, “Not Afraid,” is an inspirational and brutally honest anthem for Eminem’s fans from 2010’s Recovery album addressing that of his struggles and triumphs, and encouraging his fans to reach their triumphs as well.

When interviewed by Rolling Stone, Eminem said: “Whatever I can be to people is fine. Some people may look up to me. Some people may consider me a f–king menace. But I’m grateful for every fan letter I get, and for every person who says I helped save them. I don’t know, man. I feel like I took a lot of time off. Not doing s–t for those four or five years, how lazy I got – it’s time to get back to doing what I love. I feel like I’ve got a lot of gas in the tank. I just want to make up for letting people down.

Eminem & Dr. Dre get writing credit on J. Cole’s song for “Creed III” soundtrack.

In the song called “Adonis Interlude (The Montage),” Cole interpolates the lyrics and the beat of Dr. Dre‘s “The Watcher,” featuring Eminem, a song that was written by Slim Shady himself. Eminem is the sole credited writer on “The Watcher” and sings on its hook. The D.O.C. has stated it was Eminem’s work, and the lyrics use typical tropes of Eminem’s writing in 1999 – the sarcastic tone and use of vowel modulation to form impossible rhymes. The beat is produced by Dr. Dre. In the song, “Adonis Interlude (The Montage),” Cole kicks his verse with “Things ain’t the same for young Jermaine” just like Dre’s opening line on “The Watcher,”: “Things just ain’t the same for gangstas…”

Eminem shows love to MC Shan for defending him against Dr. Umar comments

In the latest episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, Dr. Umar “Ifatunde” Johnson, a staunch Pan-Africanist, motivational speaker, psychologist, activist and social media personality, said that Eminem can’t be considered as one of the greatest rappers of all time because of his skin color: “No non-African can ever be the best of anything African. It is an insult to the ancestors. It’s an insult to the race and it is an insult to every Black person. Do you think I can go to Palestine and be the best of anything of Palestinian culture? You never see that. You think I can go to Israel and be the best of anything in Israel whether it be a cook, an instrumentalist, a dancer? Hell no. We have to stop naming non-African people as being the best of any aspect in our cultural product because it’s an insult. I can acknowledge Eminem’s talent but for you to put him at the top, that’s white supremacy bro. I don’t see Eminem building schools and hospitals.”

MC Shan defended Eminem against Dr. Umar comments during one of his recent Instagram livestreams. ” You pick on a wrong guy. Eminem deserves respect. You can’t look at Eminem as if he was Mark Zuckerberg and he came into our culture and he just robbed our culture. How do you think Eminem got into this culture? Because he was as ghetto as the rest of the motherf–kers, regardless to his skin.” he said.

Then he continued: “Eminem is part of our culture Dr. Umar! I love Eminem. Eminem loves me. He has mentioned me on the Grammys or wherever he was. He didn’t have to say nothing about me. I’m not saying that about him because he said that. I’m saying it because he’s part of our culture… Em deserves a motherf–king slot in this game. Em was no rich motherf–ker to just come and rob rap game. He had more problems than any black. Eminem had f–king pill problems son. He had f–king white boy problems. Em gets his respect from us. So, if you don’t want to respect him, you do what you do, we don’t f–k with you anyway like that. We talk hip-hop sh–t, you talk Black Culturism. Em is down with us son. Don’t f–k with Eminem. Motherf–ker, you know Em is nice. And why is he an innovator as far as hip-hop motherf–kers like myself are concerned? Because the style Eminem got! He got his own lane son. You can talk all the s–t that you want but you leave Eminem, MC Serch and Snow out of your sentences for the simple fact that these are people that were down in the trenches with us when we were in the f–king trenches… Eminem made money… I don’t see you talk about all this black motherf–kers that made money ain’t putting nothing back to community.”

It seems Eminem has already heard MC Shan’s livestream and decided to show love on social media by posting picture of him playing classic MC Shan cassettes, which are very rare thing to find in this world: “Down By Law,” “Play It Again, Shan” and “Born To Be Wild.” Check the post below:
