Eminem’s daughter Hailie Jade shares the story behind her son’s name

During her latest episode of “just a little shady podcast” Eminem’s daughter Hailie Jade shares the story behind her son’s name. 

“Before I ever had a thought of really actually having a baby, I had a list of the names that I liked. But for some reason, when it actually came time and when Elliot was actually here, I was looking at all the names and I did not feel connected to pretty much any of them. I just kept saying I don’t picture this as him, which is so weird cause how do you know? He’s a baby. He does not even look the same now as he did.” said Hailie.

Then she continued: “So we literally got to the point where they were discharging me and we are like ‘if you don’t pick a name, we are going to give you a paperwork that’s basically saying you are responsible on your own, submitting all the documents and making sure he gets a name. At that time my brain was barely functioning”

“So finally got to the point where we were down to two names, two totally different names. The other name was Rowan and then we had Elliot. And also at that time we knew that we wanted his middle name to be Marshall, after my dad. I was like, ‘he already gets Evan’s last name and carries his family’s last name so I want to carry something with my family too.” Hailie added.
