Ultra-Rare Signed Eminem “Infinite” Vinyl Hits Auction: Only 2 Known to Exist Posted on April 11, 2026 By Remy Gelenidze The auction world is currently witnessing a rare collision of scarcity and stardom. A second known autographed copy of Eminem’s debut studio album, Infinite, has surfaced via Goldin, authenticated by AMG and JSA. While the 1996 release was the foundation of Marshall Mathers’ career, its initial failure to find a commercial audience makes surviving copies legendary. Only 500 copies of the first pressing were ever produced, and of those, only two are known to bear the signature of the man who would become the “Rap God.”This particular copy carries a pedigree that rivals its rarity. Preserved and sealed for nearly 30 years, the record was held by Detroit’s own DJ La’Roc before being offered publicly for the first time. The only other signed copy in existence originated from the private collection of Eminem’s long-time manager, Paul Rosenberg, which was auctioned in 2023 and sold for around $62,400. In a move that honors the rapper’s roots, proceeds from this sale will benefit the Marshall Mathers Foundation, supporting at-risk youth in Detroit and beyond. Technically, the record is a marvel for collectors. It has been graded VG+ 7 by AMG (50013369) as part of their elite Signature Series. Labeled with Catalog #WEB714V, this is the “Retail Version” of the Limited Edition run. It features the distinctive absence of an address on the label and credits F.B.T. Productions, noting it was recorded and mixed at Basement Sounds Inc. According to AMG’s census reporting, this is the sole example of its kind recorded; essentially, no other signed copy exists in a higher grade. The signature itself is a striking piece of memorabilia. Eminem penned his flowing autograph across the original shrink wrap using a silver metallic paint pen. Because the signature is on the external seal, the record remains in its original factory state—a “time capsule” from a period when Marshall Mathers was famously selling copies of the album out of the trunk of his car. The authenticity of the signature is further solidified by a Letter of Authenticity (LOA) from JSA (ZZ72961). The scarcity of Infinite cannot be overstated. Released before Eminem garnered mainstream attention or the “Slim Shady” persona fully took hold, the album is not available on most digital streaming platforms, save for the title track. Physical copies—especially those from the first pressing—have seen their value skyrocket over the last decade as fans and historians scramble to own a piece of Detroit’s musical heritage. With a current bid of $3,500, the auction is expected to climb significantly as it nears its close. For serious investors and hip-hop purists, this isn’t just a vinyl record; it is a historic artifact from the very beginning of the Slim Shady story. It represents the raw, unpolished ambition of an artist who was yet to become a global icon, making it a “once-in-a-lifetime” opportunity for the high-end memorabilia market. Check the auction below.
