When he came out, wasn’t nobody rapping like him. That’s what makes great artists great is their authenticity and staying true to who they are. Jay-Z is Jay-Z, he wasn’t trying to tell nobody else story but Jay-Z. Eminem is Eminem. He’s telling his story. He’s being his authentic self.” said Jon Connor. If you listen to Eminem’s music, The Slim Shady LP Eminem is nothing like Kamikaze Eminem. We’ve listened to him grow the f–k up over the years. Each album you can hear him growing up as a man. His conversations with Hailie in the first albums are way different than the conversations with Hailie on the latest albums. You can hear the growth of the man through the art. I think that’s the biggest thing that I get from Eminem’s career.”You can watch the interview below: Advertisement RECENT RELATED ARTICLESKid Rock Talks on Eminem’s Political Views in New Interview with Trick TrickJune 22, 2026Bebe Rexha Shares Origin of Eminem’s “The Monster” & Their Coachella ConnectionJune 21, 2026Westside Boogie Lands in Detroit to Play New Album for EminemJune 21, 2026Stat Quo Recalls Paul Rosenberg’s Angry Reaction to Playing Unreleased Eminem & Dr. Dre SongJune 20, 2026YG Pays Homage to Eminem on His New AlbumJune 20, 2026Jessie Reyez Reveals the “Not Normal” Music Video Routine She Learned From EmineJune 17, 2026 EminemJon Connor
