Adam Sandler speaks on how he met Eminem

Adam Sandler has recently sat down on Dan Patrick Show where he talked about his relationship with Eminem and how Slim Shady ended up being in the Happy Gilmore 2 movie, which premiers on Netflix tomorrow.

“Eminem is in Happy Gilmore 2 movie. I love Eminem. I’m friends with Eminem but I don’t want to bother the man. And everybody kept saying ‘man, Eminem would be so funny in this part’ and I was like, ‘I don’t wanna ruin this guy’s time. He’s hanging out. He’s in Detroit. He’s doing his life, making records. And then I starting going like ‘it certainly would be funny if he did it.’ So then I was like ‘alright, let me bug Marshall.’ Give him a call and said ‘Dude, I know it’s pain in the a-s but it’s pretty funny, you mind shooting out to us for a day?’ And he’s like ‘yeah, yeah, send me the stuff.” said Adam Sandler.

Then he continued: “I remember the first time I met him was at Saturday Night Live. I wasn’t on the show anymore. And I was sitting at an afterparty and I was at the table with all my guys and he was the musical guest with Dre and we are at the afterparty and then Marshall walked by our table and he looked at me and I looked at him like ‘oh yeah, that kid’s pretty damn cool.’ And then he goes ‘Bobby Boo Shay.’ And then we became friendly and yeah he was in Funny People movie.”
