Legendary producer Scott Storch has recently joined Patrick Bet-David to open up about his wild ride through fame, fortune, and rock bottom. He breaks down how he made, and lost, $100 million, what really happened partying with Diddy, why things fell apart with Dr. Dre, and his encounters with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
At one point of the interview, Scott Storch spoke about first time meeting Eminem in Dr. Dre’s studio: “When I got to Dr. Dre’s studio, he’s like ‘I got this white rapper kid. He’s really dope. His name is Marshall and we made ‘Just The Two Of Us’ that day which is his first release on Aftermath.”
Then he continued: “Eminem has black hair. He was chubby. And he didn’t look nothing like…He was the beast. I immediately knew this guy was different…. Eminem is a funny dude. He got a lot more serious over the years but he’s just funny dude. Super cool. Eats Taco Bell every day, literally every day. He used to come to my house and make beats with me.”
“I remember Dre walking in the studio and I just happened to be in the room with Em and album is done but Em was adding sound affects, things that are related to his music, like gunshot or glass cracking or whatever. He was doing that and I remember Dre being like ‘Yo, enough of them motherf–king sound effects it’s done!’ And he’s like a mad scientist, he’s really involved. He’s not just a rapper. He’s producing the albums, brining the magic out of it.” Scott Storch added.
