Xzibit recalls him and Eminem dissing Jermaine Dupri because of Dr. Dre

DJ Hed and Gina Views have recently sat down with legendary Xzibit where they talked about all things 90s West Coast, getting his start in rap, working with Death Row, iconic lyrics, the downfall of Diddy and Suge Knight, the hit show “Pimp My Ride” and much more.

At one point of the interview, X talked about him and Eminem dissing Jermaine Dupri because of Dr. Dre: “Me and Eminem s–ted on Jermaine Dupri. And it was just because, we were sitting in the studio one day and he comes on saying, talking s–t about Dr. Dre.” said Xzibit.

Then he continued: “You know, Jermaine Dupri in his own right, he’s awesome music producer. He gave us really dope songs, he knows how to make hit records. But it goes back to calling out names, n-gga. That n-gga Dre turned around and said “y’all got this?” How the f–k am I supposed to react with that? You gotta go get that n-gga. So that’s when a diss came out and Em s–t on him and I s–t on him and that was that. And he took it personal, and you know, whatever.”
