Vince Staples dropped by the neighborhood to talk with Big Boy about where he has been for the past few years, his upcoming Netflix show which is called “The Vince Staples Show” and his new “Ramona Park Broke My Heart” album.
Plus, the hip-hop artist spoke about Eminem, Tupac, Snoop Dogg, Norf Norf, his Sprite commercial, and what he discovered during his time away from music.
At one point of the interview, Vince Staples brought Eminem up as an example to answer a question about if he enjoys doing ‘music business.’
“Put it like this… If I had to choose between to be super successful and not being able to go outside like Eminem type person and working a regular job, I’d be working at the regular job. When you look at people like that and you listen to their music and see just how they interact and the kind of people they are… they are not superficial. Especially when you are talking about Eminem. He is not a superficial person. He is not somebody who cares about that element… he just really loves hip hop music.” – said Vince
