Today, legendary rapper Jay Z turns 51. To celebrate the birthday of one of the iconic figures in the hip-hop world, we have listed all the tracks Jay-Z and Eminem have collaborated throughout their decades-long career.

1. Jay Z – “Renegade,” featuring Eminem (produced by Eminem) [2001]

“Renegade” is a song from The Blueprint album by Jay-Z. Not only Eminem was the only guest rapper on the whole album, but he also produced the beat (originally for him and Royce Da 5’9″).

2. Jay Z – “8 Miles and Runnin'” featuring Freeway (produced by Eminem) [2002]

“8 Miles and Runnin'” is a song by Jay-Z from 8 Mile: Music from and Inspired by the Motion Picture album. It is produced by Eminem, and features Freeway, who at the time of this song was released, had just been signed to Roc-A-Fella Records. The name of the song “8 Miles and Runnin’” is shout out to the legendary song “100 Miles and Runnin’” by N.W.A.

3. Jay Z – “Moment of Clarity” (produced by Eminem) [2003]

“Moment of Clarity” is a track by Jay-Z from The Black Album. It is produced by Eminem and his long-time collaborator Luis Resto. We can assume Jay got this beat for free since on DJ Kay Slay’s 2003 freestyle, Eminem raps: “I’ve made beats for Jay-Z for free.”

4. Eminem – “Syllables,” featuring Jay Z, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Stat Quo and Ca$his (produced by Eminem) [surfaced in 2010]

The song was surfaced online in late 2010. It was produced by Eminem and Dr. Dre and was recorded around late 2007 but it was never officially released. It was possibly intended for Eminem’s scrapped project titled King Mathers or Dr. Dre’s never released album DETOX. The actual name “My Syllables” was confirmed in an October 2008 interview with Quo where he says: “The song that featured Jay-Z is a song that Eminem’s putting on his album, called ‘My Syllables.'” For more details, read here. When the song surfaced online, it was just titled “Syllables.”
