Stephen Colbert promotes The Death Of Slim Shady & invites Eminem at his show

Stephen Colbert has recently promoted Eminem’s new album on his THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT and invited the Detroit legend for an interview to promote his much-anticipated project.

“Folks, everybody who knows me, knows I’m big into hip-hop, the rippity raps as we call it, which is why I was personally devastated to learn that an obituary has appeared in Detroit Free Press for Eminem’s fictional alter ego Slim Shady. If only the authorities had thought to contact his doctor but sadly they Forgot About Dre.” said Stephen Colbert.

He then continued: “Now, the heartless buzzards of the media industry out there claim that Eminem is just running this fake obituary to promote his upcoming album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coupe De Grace). Mnem, as he as repeatedly asked me not to call him, is it true artist, he would never stoop to emotionally manipulating his fans for a few streams, plus no major media figure is going to be dumb enough to fall for this obit and promote The Death Of Slim Shady (Coupe De Grace), available later this summer (Come on this show, call me).”

“No, this obit is real and can mean only one thing, Will The Real Slim Shady Please Stand Up? Now I’m Slim Shady. Yes, I’m the real Shady, all the other Slim Shadys are just imitating. Will the real Slim Shady please stand up? Which mean all the royalties for the music should be sent to The Real Slim Shady care of Stephen Colbert, Ed Sullivan Theater, New York, New York. Or just go to Times Square and look for the building with my name on it.” Stephen Colbert added. You can watch the monologue below:

Stephen Colbert jokingly imagines Eminem in “Marshall Law” CBS TV series

In the latest episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the TV host made fun of United States’ representative for South Carolina’s 5th congressional district, Ralph Norman, for mistakenly spelling Martial Law as Marshall Law.

During his monologue, Stephen showed the screenshot of Norman’s words on the screen, which says: “Mark… we are at a point of no return in saving our republic. Our last hope is invoking Marshal Law!!”

On that, Colbert joked: “Invoking Martial Law means this Congressman was calling for military involvement in a coup again put him in a jail also put him through spell check because it’s Martial Law with a T. Marshall Law is the new CBS legal drama, starring Eminem as judge Marshall Mathers which reminds me, “Watch Marshall Law on CBS, Saturdays, 1:45 P.M. right after all new episodes of the Enforceinator.””

Chris Rock jokes about Eminem on Stephen Colbert’s “Late Night Show”

Couple of days ago, Chris Rock appeared on Stephen Colbert’s “Late Night Show” and was asked about Wednesday’s horrific events, in which thousands of Trump supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, D.C., as Congress and Republican lawmakers were certifying Joe Biden’s presidential election win.

The comedian joked about Eminem when asked about the differences between Black Lives Matter protests and The Capitol Riots.

For Black Lives Matter they had Apache helicopters and for this there was food trucks outside! It was like, they were selling burritos! I am like, what’s going on? We can do this with anything though. You could go, if popcorn was black, they would not sell in the movie theatres. If fruit was black, you would not put whipped cream on it. If Eminem was Black he would be wrapping groceries… you could go on, this never stops.” said Chris Rock.
