LeBron James shows massive love to Eminem’s new song

Eminem has just gave us the first taste of his upcoming 12th solo studio album “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce),” dropping somewhere this summer, with the release of its first single, titled “Houdini.” The new single got fans excited, including celebrities like Big Sean and LeBron James.

The song begins with a classic Eminem trope, enlisting his longtime manager Paul Rosenberg to share his distaste of the album that’s to come. “Hey Em, it’s Paul. I was listening to the album… Good f–king luck, you’re on your own,” says Rosenberg.

“Houdini” is somewhat of a callback to his 2002 single “Without Me,” beginning with the singsong rhymes, “Guess who’s back, back again / Shady’s back, tell a friend.” The song, produced by Eminem and his longtime collaborator Luis Resto, cites Steve Miller Band’s “Abracadabra” on the chorus, and references Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez shooting incident on one of the lines. “If I was to ask for Megan Thee Stallion if she would collab with me / Would I really have a shot at a feat? I don’t know, but I’m glad to be, back,” he raps.

The music video for the song is a direct homage to “Without Me,” as Eminem steps into a portal back to the year when the song came out. The clip, shot in a comic strip style like the video for “Without Me,” features guest appearances from 50 Cent, Pete Davidson, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, GRIP, Westside Boogie, Ez Mil, Royce 5’9″, Denaun Porter and Alchemist, among many others, and sees two Eminems — one from 2002 and another from the current day — rapping along to “Houdini.”

LeBron James is the latest celebrity who showed love to Slim Shady’s new single. “And just like that, HE’S BACK bruh! @eminem Houdini is too good!” Check the tweet from NBA legend below:

LeBron James shares a video of him & his daughter rapping to Eminem’s “Lose Yourself”

Music and Basketball fans often get to see LeBron James bobbing his head to new releases, especially to a rap music. The Basketball legend loves posting videos of himself enjoying music and jamming along to the beat.

However, its rare to see James’ eight-year-old daughter enjoy some music. Few hour ago, Lebron posted a video of himself and his daughter Zhuri James reciting Eminem’s Oscar and Grammy winning song “Lose Yourself.” James captioned the video: “My babe loves this song!! Great DNA!!”

This is not the first time a celebrity’s daughter is listening to an Eminem song. Couple of weeks ago, Kim Kardashian posted a video of her and Kanye West’s daughters enjoying listening to Eminem’s “Big Weenie” song from Encore album. The video went viral on TikTok and collected more than 43 million views in few days.

It was not the first time Kanye West’s daughters are bumping an Eminem song. Last year, they lip-synced over his classic song “The Real Slim Shady” from The Marshall Mathers LP album.

Kanye once even revealed that his daughter’s most favorite song is “Use This Gospel” and thanked Eminem for doing the remix of the song on Twitter “EMINEM THANK YOU FOR RAPPING ON THE DR DRE REMIX OF USE THIS GOSPEL I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED AND RESPECTED YOU AND IM HONORED TO HAVE YOU BLESS THIS SONG … ITS ALSO NORTH WEST’S FAVORITE KANYE WEST SONG OF ALL TIME.”

A viral diss by legendary basketball player LeBron James against the city of Orlando, Florida, drew responses Saturday from the city’s mayor and from the NBA’s Orlando Magic.

“You gotta understand anytime I hear ‘Orlando’ right now, I get PTSD,” James said on the HBO show “The Shop: Uninterrupted,” referring to his three months last summer in the NBA bubble at the Disney Wide World of Sports complex necessitated by the coronavirus pandemic.

He joked that having been in the bubble is the reason he hasn’t taken his young daughter to Disney World yet – and he also addressed whether he would ever play for the Magic.

“They have no chance” of getting him in a trade, James said. “I’ll just retire. It’s over with. ‘LeBron’s been traded to Orlando.’ ‘LeBron lives in Malibu,’” he joked.

The viral clip was tweeted out by the show with a message that read: “Sorry, Orlando… it’s nothing personal,” along with a laughing emoji and a crown.

The Orlando Magic’s official account responded kiddingly to the tweet with a meme of Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan in an interview for the documentary “The Last Dance,” saying, ” …and I took that personally.”

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, however, tweeted more seriously that he was certain James hadn’t experienced the “other half of Orlando during your time in the bubble last summer.”

Dyer invited James to lunch the next time he visits the area. “You’ll see that our community is diverse, inclusive and vibrant,” the mayor added.

After few hours, Eminem’s “Soldier” was playing on LeBron James’ Instagram story. Check it out below:
