Kash Doll shows love to Eminem

Detroit rapper Kash Doll has recently sat down with Bootleg Kev where they briefly talked about newer generation of Motor City artists kind of critiquing Eminem for not necessarily paying attention to new artists in Detroit.

“I have not met Em yet. I want to and I’m not even mad that he haven’t tapped in. I don’t know, it’s something about men and women within this era but I think we’re going to have our time.” said Kash Doll.

Then she continued: “I did a concert with 50 [Cent]. He came to Detroit and I seen Em come out on stage and I’m so mad I’m not backstage anymore no more but it would have took so much for me to go back so I was like, there will be a time that it’s going to happen. I love Em, I have nothing bad to say. Em is Em. He made his mark. He did what he needed to do. He one of them ones who put Detroit on the map. When you think of 8 Mile, you think of Eminem Detroit.”

“I have nothing bad to say. I haven’t met him, he have not tapped in but that’s cool. He’s not obligated to. He’s obligated to tap in to who he likes.” Kash Doll added. You can watch the interview below:

Icewear Vezzo meets Eminem, calls him “the biggest inspiration,” Peezy calls Eminem “GOAT”, Kash Doll wants to meet Eminem

Yesterday, 50 Cent made star-studded show in front of 20,000 people at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan, about 40 miles from northwest of Detroit.

Aside from Eminem, The G-Unit boss brought out young Detroit rappers Kash Doll, Peezy and Icewear Vezzo on the stage to perform some of their hit songs.

After the Eminem performance, Icewear Vezzo met Eminem backstage, where the two Detroiter exchanged some words. Later, Vezzo posted the video on Instagram with the caption: “Finally Eminem. [Handshake Emojis]. At the end of the day you still The biggest inspiration.”

Peezy also posted a video of Eminem’s entrance on stage when he kicked the “Patiently Waiting” verse on his Instagram story. He tagged Eminem and wrote “GOAT” emoji next to it.

Kash Doll also posted a video of Eminem’s performance on her Instagram story. The the video, she wrote: “Marshalllllllll. I wanna meet him so bad. I left too fast @eminem.”

There was a little misunderstanding between Eminem and young Detroit rappers not a long ago. I guess everything is fine now as the young studs show immense love to Motor City icon.

Kash Doll weighs in on Eminem VS Jay-Z discussion

Detroit rapper Kash Doll has recently sat down with VLAD where she talked about recent viral topic: Who had bigger impact on hip-hop culture, Eminem or Jay-Z.

“That’s hard to answer, you know why? Cause they are two different people. We got Jigga over here, that he talked it up. He came from the streets and rap, marry Beyoncé, own a liquor, making billion dollar plays. That’s different.” said Kash Doll.

Then she continues: “Then you got Em. Come from the D. He’s not black and his impact was like, still to this day, he’s still super huge. He has done all the stuff that he has done. What do you mean impact? Who hit the waves? Cause Em…Man that’s hard to answer. I’m not even about to do that because when Em came out he ran this s–t! Eminem! When he came out that was a thing. All you know is Slim Shady! And then Jay-Z…He was from the streets. I could never not respect that man come from the streets and be a billionaire. Man, they both did their thing. I’m not picking.”

Back in 2020, In a similar fashion to how Eminem united with 6 Detroit hip-hop artists to celebrate Detroit on 2014’s “Detroit vs. Everybody,” Big Sean went further on “Friday Night Cypher” and brought together fourteen Detroit natives — eleven rappers and three producers. The song is the only time Eminem and Kash Doll jumped on a track together.

Royce 5’9″ tells his thoughts on 42 Dugg, Kash Doll, Boldy James & other Detroit rappers

Detroit has produced renowned figures in hip-hop from Eminem to J Dilla, and the current scene is buzzing with fresh talent. Genius recruited with Royce da 5’9″ to give his take on some of the new rap music coming out of his city and decide which artist deserved his cosign.

“I love 43 Dugg, man. He’s real. He’s bad a** lil ni**a. Just to be honest. He personifies a very common voice in the community even though he stands out like a motherf**ker. He has been himself. He has been as Detroit as f**k. That’s our Queen. I love her.”

Kash Doll is my baby. I love her. She could do no wrong. She is her. Super consistent. Never heard anything that I needed to criticize. I think once Kash Doll starts releasing her albums people will be able to appreciate her lyricism a lot more. She’s on her way. She kills everything she is on. She is lyrically talented.”

“I like this kid BabyTron. He was at my studio recently. I just met him and I felt like I was meeting Lil Baby. I like what he’s doing in terms of sonically, the direction he’s going. I think that’s interesting direction for young Detroiter to go. I’m not really with the whole rapping-off-beat-on-purpose thing. I can’t listen to that but I like the fact that they are trying to do something different.”

Boldy James is one of the best Detroit rappers right now. I know Boldy personally and I know he can do this s**t standing on his hands.”

BabyFace Ray will go pop sooner or later. I f**k with him and his movement real tough. He has always been focused. That’s not Detroit sound. That’s just him.”

Weeze, this little ni**a is crazy man. I love ‘Law N Order’ beat. I don’t even know where the hell they getting these. I love his approach and my cosign is Weeze.”
