Charlamagne reacts to Tyler, The Creator apologizing Eminem

In a recent episode of The Breakfast Club, Jess Hilarious, Charlamagne tha God and  DJ Envy discussed Tyler, The Creator recently apologizing Eminem for criticizing some of his catalog that were released after Relapse album.

Jess Hilarious: I love when people are loud about being wrong. And I think that’s important too because a lot of times with artists people give them hell when they get into different place in their life, it’s like ‘oh, they don’t make the same music. They can’t rap no more, they can’t this and that.’ And it’s just like NO! People grow! And being able to be vulnerable is a thing now but back then when Eminem was doing it, wasn’t too many artists that was coming out, talking about the addictions and different things that were happening, so that’s good to hear.

Charlamagne Tha God: I respect it. There is nothing worse than letting the joke fly out and insult and then you find out they going through something traumatic so I respect him for owing that but it’s still art right? If you don’t like the art, you can still criticize the art.

Charlamagne reacts to Benzino crying over Eminem beef

Charlamagne tha God, Jess Hilarious and DJ Envy have recently discussed Benzino’s new emotional interview on Drink Champs with NORE and DJ EFN.

During Drink Champs interview, Benzino got drunk, got emotional and started crying: “I don’t have nothing against Eminem. He can rap but I care about us more. I don’t want to talk about it no more. For 22 years, every time I do interviews they ask me about Eminem. The fu-k you want me to do? C’mon man. My daughter came to industry figuring ‘I gotta be cool with Eminem because everybody is against my dad.’ You think this sh-t is fu-king cool? Nah man, we are failing as a people. I don’t hate Eminem. I don’t know him to hate. I don’t hate white people. I’m tired of this sh-t man. It’s too much.”

After Jess Hilarious played the audio for Charlamagne, he said: “I like when people get that drunk. That’s when alcohol gets your holiness soul, you just start spilling your gut and give your life to the Lord in that moment. I respect it.”

He then continued: “Whatever he said in that moment is what he means. So, he don’t hate white people and he don’t have a problem with Eminem like that. That’s it.” From there, DJ Envy added: “I feel Benzino. They play on Benzino’s name a lot. Let’s be honest. Benzino was one of the people who created The Source magazine which was an institution that helped so many different artists. They were doing so well.” Charlamagne added: “They always coming for his neck. You know what I mean. Salute to Benzino. And Salute to Drink Champs.”

Charlamagne says Benzino’s diss was better than Eminem’s

Benzino has fired back at Eminem with a new diss song called “Vulturius” on which he mocks Em’s drug overdose and the death of his late friend Big Proof and Charlamagne looks impressed by it.

Eminem had taken shots at the former co-owner of The Source magazine on his recent track “Doomsday Pt. 2”, and now his old rival has responded on “Vulturius,” which borrows JAY-Z‘s “Where I’m From” beat. Zino raps: Candy-a– Eminem, b–ch-a– feminine/ Mad he lack melanin, all Valium’d up again/ Aw, s–t, here we go, Benzino vs. Jim Crow/ Know a custy when I see one, how many times you overdose?”

Benzino also mocks the death of Eminem’s late friend and fellow D12 rapper Proof: “You a punk, plan my funeral? Please, you shoot who?/ Square ain’t even go circle the block for Proof.”

It looks like Charlamagne was impressed by Benzino’s bar as the media personality talked about it on Breakfast Club Power 105.1 FM: “That ain’t it Eminem. What’s the point? Why? It just sonically not appealing to my ears but why? What are they even beefing for?” said Charlamagne Tha God.

Then he continued: “From what I heard, Benzino snapping on this. It sounded like Benzino was kind of hard. Play that little snippet for me again…I got to give Benzino that one. I ain’t heard either whole record but if I’m going off snippets, Benzino has better beat selection, heard some better bars from Benzino than I heard from Eminem. I know that sounds crazy to say but am I lying? Benzino had some balls. Sounds like Benzino got him for me from what I heard out from those snippets.”

Charlamagne, Ebro, Young Guru, Lowkey & more share their thoughts on 50 Cent VS Lil Wayne Verzuz battle

Ebro Darden has recently said that 50 Cent would “wash” Lil Wayne in a Verzuz battle, causing an uproar on social media in the process. Check out how hip-hop world responded to 50 Cent Vs Lil Wayne Verzuz battle.

Ebro Darden

“What Jadakiss did to Dipset…Is what 50 will do to Wayne… @yourboyeddie wasn’t outside in the mid-2000s.”

Eddie Francis

“I seen Ebro’s opinion and I was like, ‘What?!’ In what world? I’m not even here to say 50 could beat Lil Wayne, but to say that 50 would wash Lil Wayne? In no dimension, in no world, in no — just no! That would not happen.”

Lowkey

“I’ma say something and I’ma stand on it: Wayne don’t have a Get Rich or Die Tryin, We’re talking about a Verzuz battle, right? We’re not talking about what we like. We’re not talking about what we grew up on. We’re not talking about what we listen to when we’re in the kitchen cooking or driving down whatever highway in L.A. that you drive down. We’re talking about in a crowd. We’re talking about 50 Cent. This man is a mainstream monster; Wayne is a cultural mainstream monster. But when we talk about these hits? When we talk about these bodies of work? When we talk about these smashes? I ain’t saying 50’s gonna wash Wayne, but if Wayne is not sequenced right and is not positioned correctly, that could be a very long f–king night for Dwayne Carter. No disrespect to Wayne”

Charlamagne Tha God

“What is Lowkey talking about? Yes, Lil Wayne does not have Get Rich but he has a massive amounts of hits. I love 50 Cent but one album can not win the Verzuz. 50 Cent is gonna need more than just Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ to go against one of the top 5, potentially top 3 greatest rappers of all time. Lil Wayne could literally start in 1998 and come up all the way up to Young Money era. We talking +25 years. You will catch hell going against Lil Wayne in Verzuz 20 songs songs against 20 songs.”

Young Guru

“For the record, y’all are crazy. Wayne would wash 50. Period.”

Charlamagne says The Game VS Eminem is closer match-up than people think

Charlamagne Tha God has recently talked about The Game saying he’s better than Eminem on The Breakfast club.

While Charlamagne agrees that Eminem is the biggest rapper of all time, The Game can still go against Eminem.

“Personally, I do like The Game’s music more than Eminem’s but Eminem is the biggest rapper of all time so on paper it does not sound like a great match-up but when it comes to a matter of culture that’s a little bit closer than people think. When you talk about the culture, you play have played way more Game songs in the club than than Eminem.” he says.

Future washes Eminem in Verzuz. 6ixN9ne would wash him too, depending on the generation. Em don’t got nothing that slaps like GUMMO to these kids. Young Thug washes Eminem in a Verzuz. I can name twenty rappers that washes Eminem in Verzuz.” said the radio personality.

In the comment section on “Rap” Instagram page, Tory Lanez didn’t agree to Charlamagne and showed support to Eminem: “Stan, My Name Is, My Band, Purple Pills, Lose Yourself, Just Lose It, Guilty Conscience, Don’t Push Me, Superman and etc. Cuz trippin’.

Charlamagne says Future, 6ixN9ne, Young Thug & Britney Spears would wash Eminem in Verzuz

On The Brilliant Idiots with Andrew Schultz, Charlamagne Tha God talks about Eminem’s chances in Verzuz battle.

“Eminem gets washed in any Verzuz bro. Em don’t have songs like that. Em can rap and we like Eminem as a rapper. Future washes Eminem in Verzuz. 6ixN9ne would wash him too, depending on the generation. Em don’t got nothing that slaps like GUMMO to these kids. Young Thug washes Eminem in a Verzuz. I can name twenty rappers that washes Eminem in Verzuz.”

“Em falls in the same category as somebody like Kendrick Lamar and I think Kendrick would perform better in Verzuz. Em doesn’t have Verzuz type songs. Imagine Verzuz where he plays ‘Stan.’ Britney Spears washes Eminem in a Verzuz bro. Britney gets Eminem f**k out of here.” – says Charlmagne

Charlamagne explains why TikTokers trying to cancel Eminem will never work

In one of the recent episodes of The Brilliant Idiots, Charlamagne Tha God and Andrew Schulz talked about the recent trend on TikTok where the users are trying to cancel Eminem.

Charlamagne Tha God: TikTok is trying to cancel Eminem. I think it’s funny as f**k when kids go back to the eras where they should not be even playing around. If you were talking to a child, you will be like ‘don’t go in that 90’s box.’ Thy are just playing old Eminem lyrics and doing what outrage culture does. Trying to build a case against Eminem. But I’m going to tell you why it will never work. THAT’S EMINEM’S WHOLE STICK.

Andrew Schulz: Yeah, it’s tricky man, because if you go back and listen to some Eminem songs or even like skits, Eminem was one of the wildest people in history bro.

Charlamagne Tha God: “Eminem was the reason we thought we could get away with that type of s**t. [Laughs] For real though. In the era we grew up where there is a bar so if you are growing up in entertainment, you are performer, you are rapper, comedian, radio personality, if your bars are the Howard Sterns and The Stars and Eminem, all these people you hear saying wild s**t, what are you supposed to do? It’s crazy but the funny part is seeing little kids being upset about it. You are not going to build a case against Eminem. You know why? Cause all the people who have a power to ‘cancel’ or whatever the f**k that means, they grew up loving Eminem too. Eminem was one of the biggest stars in the world and at one point THE BIGGEST STAR. He was everybody’s guilty pleasure. I never was a fan. I respected him as a lyricist but I never was a die-hard Eminem fan. But he has a lot of die-hard fans.

Andrew Schulz: I was a fan bro.

Charlamagne weighs in on Eminem and Snoop Dogg situation

In a recent Clubhouse chat, Daz said that possible tension between Snoop Dogg and Eminem was caused because Snoop wanted Em to be on his album but he rejected.

In the recent episode on Breakfast Club, Charlamagne Tha God has stated his opinion about the situation.

Why the hell is Eminem so sensitive? Eminem would get on the record and say what he want about people for years. And as soon as Snoop says Em is not his Top 10 and Snoop was objective. Snoop said Eminem is lot of people’s Top 10, he’s not just in mine.

Eminem has killed so many pop artists in his music. Why is he so sensitive in this situation? Has not Eminem head his own tone over the years. C’mon man, you are Eminem. Knock it off. He’s hypocritical. He’s been saying anything about people for years.
