In the latest episode of Complex’s On Display, Director and Lyrical Lemonade founder Cole Bennett hosted Complex guys inside his Chicago office to show off his collection of The Simpsons toys, ‘90s collectibles, and rare music memorabilia from his own career.
From a $15,000 promo prop from “The Simpsons Movie,” to one-of-a-kind Juice WRLD items and Lyrical Lemonade artifacts, Cole’s space is a mix of nostalgia and creativity. He also shares how his love for collecting connects to his visual style and storytelling as one of music’s most influential directors.
Cole also showed them his Eminem x Carhartt Air Jordan 4 Retro, signed by Eminem himself, which is estimated around $35,000. “Eminem gifted me these a couple of years back. ‘Cole, thanks for everything’ and signed Shady there. He gifted me a pair of the Carhartt 4s. They got the Eminem ‘E’ on the back. That was really cool moment.” said Cole Bennett.
“When he was signing the box, I was like, ‘actually, you should sign the shoe’ and he was like ‘no, no, no. One day you might want to sell these and if I sign them, they’re gonna be ruined. I’ll never sell this. This mean a lot to me.”
