Russ speaks on how Eminem and 50 Cent influenced him

In the recent episode of The Big Podcast with Shaq, Russ talked about being independent as an artist, Shaq’s mosh pit incident, surprise drop in from Adam with Marvel and more. At one point of the interview, Shaq asked Russ to name his influences and Mount Rushmore of hip-hop.

“Growing up my influence was Eminem. It was G-Unit. Eminem, 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks and then it was Lil Wayne.” said Russ.

“My Mount Rushmore of hip-hop? It’s funny…My favorites are different from who I technically think is the best. Who I technically think is the best is Black Thought, Eminem, Jay-Z and André 3000. My favorite is though Drake, Ye (Kanye West), Nipsey Hussle, Eminem.” Russ added.
