Some of the biggest names in hip-hop have previously expressed that they do not care much about being recognized by the Grammys but some of them feel quit opposite. The latest hip-hop artist to speak out and express his frustrations is Snoop Dogg. Maybe the iconic rapper does not really care about it but he still raised an eyebrow on social media.
Snoop took to his Instagram to vent about the Recording Academy having never awarded him with a Gramophone throughout his impressive three decades career.
In the post, Uncle Snoop screenshotted a tweet that is listing the rappers with the most Grammy wins, which included JAY-Z and Kanye West with 24 each, Kendrick Lamar with 17 who has recently surpassed Eminem’s 15 wins and Pharrell with 13.
In the caption, Snoop Dogg reminded everyone that he has yet to join that winners list: “Snoop Dogg. 20 nominations. Zero wins,” he wrote along with a sarcastic emojis. You can check the post below:

Meanwhile, his long-time friend and collaborator Dr. Dre, who is 7-time Grammy winner himself, was awarded with the Global Impact Award at the 2023 Grammy Awards.
