GRIP releases music video for “Intro”

After dropping music video for “Numbers,” GRIP is back with new visuals for “Intro” song from deluxe edition of STILL (5 & A F*** You).

STILL (Five & A Fu*** You) serves as the deluxe follow-up to GRIP’s 2022 album 5 & A F*** You, itself a quick project meant to hold fans over while waiting for sample clearance on his proper follow-up to 2021’s I Died For This!?.

In the song “Intro,” GRIP makes reference to Jay-Z and Eminem song, “Renegade” with the following lines: “Lord, forgive me for my sinnin’ ways / In the bars, MMA, they got Em amazed / Shady Records, b–ch, I’m rollin’ with the Renegades.”

Paul Rosenberg responds Eminem’s “8 Mile Sequel” rumors

The cult masterpiece film 8 Mile’s legacy won’t be altered, according to Paul Rosenberg.

Rosenberg, Eminem’s longtime manager and business partner, claims that the Detroit legend’s critically acclaimed movie “8 Mile” won’t have a follow-up. The original movie was released back in 2002 and went to win the Academy Award (Oscar) for Best Original Song with “Lose Yourself.”

The rumors of 8 Mile sequel have been circulation on social media in the past few days. Paul Rosenberg, who was a co-founder and former president of Shady Records, clarified the situation on social media on Friday.

“Just wanna clear this up. There is no 8 Mile sequel. It does not and won’t exist,” he wrote. Users had mixed responses to the news. One wrote: “That’s good. Some movies are already unique. Don’t need a sequel. Except for an album called Relapse…” Another noted: “Thank you, we don’t want that. We want The TV Show, Based off 8-Mile,” they said.

We might not be getting the sequel of 8 Mile but 50 previewed the idea of creating 8 Mile TV series back in January while appearing on Big Boy’s Neighborhood. He said the show will further Eminem’s “legacy.”

He most recently discussed the project during an interview with Men’s Health. “This s–t is expected to be just as big as the feature film, just huge, it’ll be huge. The interest in it is because the time period that 8 Mile was capturing further back, so as we move it into modern times you’ll see things about how we function now, how technology changed the way people enter the music business.”

Ed Sheeran talks about Eminem with Nardwuar

In a new interview with Nardwuar, Ed Sheeran shared what he had to go through to get Eminem to take the stage with him at Detroit’s Ford Field back in July, where he surprised his hometown audience by performing hits like “Lose Yourself” and “Stan” with the British superstar.

Nardwuar: When you are on stage, do you ever get seasick on stage?

Ed Sheeran: No but when I played with Eminem, I tried to get him to get on the revolve, I think it was a bit too much. I’ve been playing on it like 100 shows so I’m sort of used to it but it’s definitely different for people.

Nardwuar: How hard is it to get Eminem on stage?

Ed Sheeran: “It was pretty difficult. I went over to play the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with him… I had basically flown off on a day off because I was shooting 14 music videos, back to back, and I had one day off in between. That day off was the day of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. So I got on a plane that night, flew, played, got on a plane that night and then flew back. And he found out that I’ve done that so he was like, ‘Anything you ever need,’ and I just said, then and there, ‘I’m coming to Detroit,’ so let’s do that.”

Nardwuar: Were you worried that he wouldn’t show up? “I was there in Detroit for a couple of days as well. He let me use his studio to record some stuff, so I sort of knew it was going to happen. I gave him the out. Whenever I perform with people, I always say, ‘You can cancel last minute if you want,’ so there’s never any pressure.”

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer trailer features Eminem

Ahead of the Call of Duty Next Showcase on October 5th, 2023 Activision has released a multiplayer trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. It features everything you’d associate with the franchise, from explosions and executions to music by Eminem.

Throughout the new trailer, Eminem’s 2002 hip-hop banger, “Till I Collapse” plays along. “Till I Collapse” is a song from The Eminem Show album, produced by Eminem himself, featuring late rapper Nate Dogg. The drums are taken almost directly from Queen’s anthem “We Will Rock You”. Although it has never been released as a single, it has charted on a few occasions when other Eminem albums have been released.

This marks the fourth time Eminem is promoting the COD games. First in 2009, when “Modern Warfare 2” dropped. Then it was 2010 when “Black Ops” was released. And 2013 when “Ghosts” hit the market.

As far as the new COD: MW3, If the maps looked familiar, that’s because Modern Warfare 3’s multiplayer features 16 maps from Modern Warfare 2 (2009), remastered for the modern day. There are three new maps for Ground War and Invasion and a new War Map, while a new mode, the 3v3v3 Cutthroat, is being introduced for core maps.

Time to kill is longer in core modes thanks to increased health while reloading and slide cancels are more refined. You also have Aftermarket Parts for completely revamping weapons (learn more here), and if all that isn’t enough, the class Mini-map and map voting are back.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 launches on November 10th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. You can watch the trailer below:

Lil Tay responds Eminem’s “Killshot” namedrop 5 years later

Lil Tay has recently responded to Eminem’s namedrop on “Killshot,” a diss track towards Machine Gun Kelly that was released more than 5 years ago.

A month after the rapper and influencer’s family announced her death in a post on Instagram — which was deleted the following day — Tay shared a music video for her new song “Sucker 4 Green.”

To promote her new single, she did a Question & Answer session on her discord channel where she replied to some of her curious fans, including questions about Eminem.

“Outstreamed the rapper who dissed me too.” she said in one of the comments. “‘feel like I’m babysitting lil tay’ ooopsie, I wouldn’t give you the PLEASURE of being with me boooo” she said in another comment.

“Killshot” is a response to Machine Gun Kelly’s “RAP DEVIL,” which was in itself a response to “Not Alike” from Eminem’s August 2018 album Kamikaze.

In the song, Eminem raps: “Got more fans than you in your own city, lil’ kiddy, go play / Feel like I’m babysitting Lil Tay.”

This is a response to “Rap Devil,” where MGK says: “But you’re just a bully actin’ like a baby / So I gotta read you a nursery (nursery).” Eminem responds by comparing MGK to Lil Tay, a meme-persona not to be taken seriously.

Eminem reacts to Lil Wayne’s new song with YG & Tyga

After teasing fans with a couple of songs, the full album from Tyga and YG is finally out!

Hit Me When U Leave The Klub: The Playlist arrived after the duo created hype with singles like “West Coast Weekend,” featuring Blxst, “Party Time” and the latest one “Brand New” with Lil Wayne.

The album includes 14 tracks in total with additional guest appearance from none other than Busta Rhymes.

In the song called “Brand New,” Lil Wayne raps: “Yeah, brand new money, brand new hundreds / Got a bunch of zeros like a bag of new Funyuns.”

Funyuns are onion flavored rings that are of a round shape. Lil Wayne is saying that he has millions in his bank account, hence “bunch of zeros.” Zeros are also round, just like Funyuns.

It seems Eminem was impressed with those lines as the Detroit legend tweeted: “Bro Wayne just said “got a bunch of zeros like a bag of new funyuns!!” F–K why didn’t I think of that????”

Longtime Eminem collaborator Dina Rae needs our help

Dina Rae, a longtime associate of Eminem, has recently struggled and has turned to GoFundMe to ask for the support.

Rae reportedly claimed that she sought “alternative treatments” to relieve the pain, but to no avail. Rae has long-standing neck and spine problems. She underwent a corrective procedure at UCLA in Los Angeles earlier this month as a result.

“As I’m sure you know, this is an expensive surgery and during this procedure and after I will be entirely responsible for all associated costs, and unable to work as I recover. I am raising money so I can have this procedure, because the fact is, I’ll need some help as I recover and rehabilitate. I’m hoping to cover rent bills and the basic expenses for a few months, I thank you all so much.”

Dina Rae also said that after the surgery, she won’t be able to work for several months. As of this writing, the GoFundMe has raised $1,765 out of the $30,000 goal.

Eminem and Dina Rae have previously collaborated on “Cum On Everybody” in 1999 (The Slim Shady LP), “Drug Ballad” in 2000 (The Marshall Mathers LP), “Pimp Like Me” in 2001 (D12’s “Devil’s Night”), “Superman” in 2002 (The Eminem Show), “B–ch” in 2004 (on the D12 “D12 World”) and on a mixtape joint called “Pale Moonlight” with Strike back in the mid 00’s.

Hailie shares her emotions when she saw Eminem & 50 Cent on stage in Detroit

In her latest episode of “just a tittle shady” podcast, Hailie talked about the night Eminem came out as a surprise guest at 50 Cent’s show in Detroit.

“I was thriving because I had a little Sunday fun-day. So, we went to 50 Cent’s concert and I was so freaking happy. I have not seen him perform since like, I seriously think it was like 6tth grade. It’s been so long. First of all, I was so happy because there’s so many bangers that I feel everybody just forgets about. There’s the club songs but then there is so many play that you are like ‘holy s–t’.” said Hailie.

Then she continued: “And, what I was saying Evan too, the actual production that was the entire show, I have never seen that level of production. I mean, pyro, confetti cannons…There was a point, there was one song where pyro went off the entire song. And I was like, this is sick! I was not disappointed. And also, dad came out. It’s funny because, when he came out the Ed Sheeran thing, we knew before but this time I found out right before but still no matter what, I still get so hype cause I could see the crowd being so happy.”

“And actually it was funny because there was this guy in front of us. He was originally in our seats and he was not supposed to be there. So, he just climbed over in the seats in front of us. He was living his best life the entire time. Thankfully, nobody came to those seats so he didn’t kicked out. I was like ‘yes, you deserve to be right there. And Pine Knob was the most crowded and most hectic I have seen, ever. It was insane. That was one of the best Sundays in a long time.

“That’s why I was shocked too, because so many people were there on Sunday. I was not sure what’s going to be the vibe. Is everyone gonna be relaxed? No! Not a single person relaxed. It was a lot of fun.” she added.
