Eminem drops new single “Houdini” with music video

Eminem attempts to make his career disappear with new single titled “Houdini,” produced by himself and Luis Resto. It serves as the lead single to Eminem’s twelfth studio album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce). The track is named after Harry Houdini, a popular magician known for his death-defying stunts like the Chinese Water Torture Cell, which Eminem replicates in the intro to his 1999 track, “Role Model.”

“Little baby devil with the forked tongue and it’s stickin’ out,” raps Eminem in the opening verse, before he adds, “Still a white jerk pullin’ up in a Chrysler to the cypher with the Vics, Percs and a Bud Light shirt.” At the end of the first verse, Eminem references Megan Thee Stallion’s shooting incident with Tory Lanez  with a clever wordplay: “If I was to ask for Megan Thee (What?)/ Stallion if she would collab with me / Would I really have a shot at a feat? (Haha) I don’t know, but I’m glad to be back like Abra-abracadabra…”

In the third verse, Eminem claims that there are still many kids who want to act like him while namedropping R. Kelly and Black Eyed Peace: “In the coupe, leaning back my seat (What?)
Bumpin’ R. Kelly’s favorite group (Uh), the black guy (Guy) pees (Pees, haha) / In my Air Max 90s / White Ts, walkin’ parental advisory / My transgender cat’s Siamese (Why?) / Identifies as black, but acts Chinese.”

At the end of the verse, Eminem says a big f–k you to everybody, including Paul Rosenberg, Dr. Dre and his own kids: “Go ahead, Paul, quit, snake-a-s prick, You male cross dresser (Haha), fake-a-s b-tch / And I’ll probably get s-t for that (Watch) / But you can all suck my d–k, in fact / F–k them, f–k Dre, f–k Jimmy, f–k me, f–k you / F–k my own kids, they’re brats (F–k ’em) / They can screw off (Yeah), them and you all (Uh) / You too, Paul, got two balls / Big as RuPaul’s (Woah).”

The music video features cameos from Paul Rosenberg, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, GRIP, Westside Boogie, EZ Mil, Alchemist, Denaun Porter, Royce 5’9″, Pete Davidson, Jimmy Iovine, three of his daughters and others and it references to his iconic “Without Me” music video. New Music Video: Ez Mil – “Podium”

Philippines-born, Las Vegas-based multi-faceted musician, Ez Mil, who both raps and sings, shares the official music video for track “Podium” out now. The tenacious, versatile deluxe version of his second album, DU4LI7Y: REDUX, out everywhere now following his recent signing to Eminem and Dr. Dre‘s Shady Records/Aftermath Entertainment/Interscope Records. Mil joins the likes of 50 Cent as only a few of the artists signed directly to all three labels.

Ez Mil’s latest music video for “Podium,” directed by Alexey Figurov, is an ominous, dark visual shot in black and white that accompanies his relentless, haunting flow. On the track, Ez Mil begins to process his new role as a rising rapper-someone others might look up to-and the mix of fear and excitement that comes with it. Though Ez is used to directing and editing his videos, he enjoyed letting Figurov help create his vision. Ez Mil says the video, to him, is raw, adding, “It is an unfiltered reflection and a glimpse into my artistry.” Figurov says the video aims to, “recreate the complexity and versatility of the human personality. To explore our negative sides and a person’s craving for self-destruction.” The video’s black-and-white color scheme complete with red accents was a creative suggestion from Eminem himself.

Ez Mil shares the song is, “dedicated to the powers that be. It sheds light on how rappers or writers sometimes feel like politicians with the truth behind what they say and the fear they feel of what might happen as someone in a position of influence.” Aware of his role as someone with a platform and a microphone, Ez Mil hopes to make friends and family proud as he propels into the next phase of his flourishing career.

The deluxe LP out now, DU4LI7Y: REDUX, which features artwork done by Ez Mil himself, expands on the original work to begin a new chapter-only this time-supported and approved by two of the rising rapper’s longtime idols. Ez Mil emphasizes the importance of his own vulnerability and its role in creating the best, most authentic music he can make. Mil says ultimately, his creative process includes, “just putting my thoughts out there and wearing my heart on my sleeve. It’s my journal. My music is my story.”

New Music Video: Eladio Carrión – “Si Salimos” ft. 50 Cent

Eladio Carrión, an American rapper and singer of Latin trap and reggaeton, has now released another catchy new song and music video, titled “Si Salimos” featuring 50 Cent.

The song “Si Salimos” is from his most recent album, “3MEN2 KBRN,” which has over 18 other standout tracks. Additionally, this eye-catching blockbuster has an incredible beat that will keep you fascinated for a while.

This marks first song of 50 Cent since last year’s “Is This Love” song with Eminem, produced by Dr. Dre, Trevor Lawrence Jr. and Mark Batson. The song is an unreleased track from 2009, most likely recorded for Relapse: Refill or Relapse 2 album, yet was kept in the vault due to the negative reviews from critics. This track is one of two recorded by the duo in 2009, with the other, “Psycho”, being put on 50’s Before I Self Destruct project.

Like “Jimmy, Brian and Mike,” the track contains re-recorded vocals by both Eminem and 50 Cent and it is included in the greatest hits album “Curtain Call 2.”
