Lazarus & Swifty McVay drop Emiway diss track Posted on January 23, 2026 By Remy Gelenidze Detroit rapper Lazarus has spoken out about a brewing international hip-hop clash involving Indian rap star Emiway, revealing details behind a failed collaboration that escalated into a full-blown diss exchange. According to Lazarus, Emiway was originally slated to appear on a collaborative song alongside Detroit heavyweights Royce da 5’9” and Kuniva of D12, but abruptly backed out of the project before recording was finalized.Lazarus claims Emiway not only withdrew from the album, but did so while dismissing Royce da 5’9” as “not good on the track,” a move Lazarus says effectively killed the collaboration. After exiting the project, Emiway allegedly launched a hate campaign against Lazarus weeks later, further intensifying tensions. The Detroit rapper says the situation crossed a line once public attacks began, especially after Emiway had already stepped away from the record. Following Emiway’s departure, Lazarus replaced him with fellow Indian rapper Ikka, a decision that reportedly fueled the conflict even more. In response, Lazarus teamed up with Swifty McVay of D12 to fire back lyrically. The diss centers not only on Emiway’s actions but also on his stage name, which Lazarus points out is derived from Eminem and Lil Wayne—a connection they argue Emiway no longer deserves to use.The result is “DEATHBLOW,” a diss track released by Lazarus featuring Swifty McVay, aimed squarely at Emiway. In his verse, Lazarus namedrops Eminem with the following lines: “All you ever, were, are is a Slim Shady wannabe / Get the Emi out your name, b–ch, this is my city / “Gonna collaborate with Eminem,” yeah, I’ma see / Why don’t you look in the mirror first, you vile atrocity And every verse that this sucka ever sent back to me / Both Biz and Swift had said was unsatisfactory, a catastrophe.” You can bump the new track below: LATEST RELATED NEWSMaino releases 50 Cent diss track “Bleed Like Us”Papoose name-drops Eminem again in a new 50 Cent dissEminem and Shade 45 mourn the death of Lord SearJoe Budden podcast host says Eminem can’t sell out stadiums without pop starIDK says Eminem Heard His New Record and He Liked ItT.I.
