The Memphis rapper Finesse2tymes unloaded raw emotion and unresolved family drama in a freestyle posted online over the weekend, comparing himself to Eminem amid a public fallout with his mother, who now says she’s homeless after he allegedly cut her off financially.
Finesse2tymes pounded out a beat on furniture while delivering an a cappella verse that peeled back layers of personal pain. “Five years family problems, now I feel like Eminem,” he rapped, referencing the Detroit legend famously strained relationship with his own mother.
Without naming names, Finesse2tymes questioned the absence of support during his lowest moments, including when he was facing a decade in prison. “Where were you?” he asked in the verse, before abruptly walking away from the camera, visibly overwhelmed.
