Young Dolph references Eminem on a song “Water on Water on Water” (2019)

Yesterday, rapper Young Dolph was shot and killed in Memphis at the age of 36.

Maurice Hill, the owner of the shop where the shooting happened, Makeda’s Butter Cookies, told FOX13 that Young Dolph walked into the store to buy cookies. Someone then drove up and shot and killed him at the South Memphis bakery.

Young Dolph is not a close affiliate to Shady Records but he is another fallen solider of hip-hop who once showed love to Eminem on a song with Kay Glock.

“Water on Water on Water” is a song from Young Dolph and Kay Glock’s 2019 collaborative project titled “Dum and Dummer,” produced by BandPlay.

In the song, the Memphis emcee opens the third verse with the following lines: “Came up in my hood selling fifties like Slim Shady (Fifty) / Flood the street like Walgreens and got choppers like the Navy (Navy).”
