Watch: Eminem & Denaun Porter – “Houdini” (Live in London)

It’s very rare to see Eminem popping up for a live performance these days. The often reclusive Rap God has been more visible lately as he promotes his latest chart-topping album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce), including a totally surprising hop-up in London on Thursday night (July 18, 2024) to support his long-time friend and mentor Dr. Dre.

Slim Shady surprised the crowd at the launch event for Doctor’s new canned drinks line with Snoop Dogg, called Gin & Juice, when he jumped on stage at Flippers Boogie Palace to join the party hosted by former NBA great Shaquille O’Neal. But first, Dre and Snoop rolled through a set of some of their most beloved songs, including “The Next Episode,” “Drop It Like It’s Hot” and “Nuthin’ But a G Thang” at the event attended by celebrities like LeBron James, Idris Elba, Virgil Van Dijk and Jude Bellingham among others.

Near the end of the set Dre introduced Eminem, who ripped through the first single from The Death of Slim Shady, “Houdini” with Denaun Porter before they kicked “Forgot About Dre” togther. Em shared the video of his “Houdini” performance on his official YouTube channel.

Though Em has not announced a run of dates to support his new album, he will appear alongside Muse, Thirty Seconds to Mars and Richie Hawtin at this year’s Soundstorm festival in Saudi Arabia in December. Before that, Eminem is set to perform at Crawford/Madrimov fight night on August 2 and he and Sting will headline the Germania Insurance Super Stage at the 2024 Formula 1 Pirelli United States Grand Prix on October 18-20th!

Meanwhile, you can watch the “Houdini” performance below:

Eminem takes pictures with fans in London as he attends Slim Shady’s funeral

Eminem’s alter ego, Slim Shady, is receiving a memorial in London!

On Monday, July 15, 2024 the iconic rapper Eminem from Detroit turned to his Instagram handle to announce the London dates of his exclusive pop-up to celebrate the release of his latest album, The Death of Slim Shady.

Marking July 17 and 18 as the dates to say a proper farewell to the late Slim Shady, he wrote:  “A proper farewell to Slim Shady in London. Join us on July 17th & 18th for the @complex pop-up experience to celebrate the release of The Death of Slim Shady at 59 Greek Street in Soho. #TheDeathofSlimShady.”

Partnered with Complex, the limited edition pop-up merchandise includes album-specific hoodies, shirts, and hats, along with the rapper’s vinyl collection that explores his entire catalog of 12 albums, including the rare tracks.

The pop-up is a combination of a memorial and an art exhibition, featuring Slim Shady-centric art and photography and a symbolic casket for the attendees to bid farewell to the iconic wordsmith. Previously, Los Angeles witnessed the merchandise and memorial on July 12–14 at Complex, LA, 433 N. Fairfax Avenue.

SURPRISINGLY, Eminem appeared at the funeral to take pictures with fans and sign the merchandise. Check out the pictures and videos below. You may also want to refresh the page after every few minutes cause the article is being updated with new photos and video clips.

50 Cent brings out Ed Sheeran at his Final Lap Tour in London

Tuesday night (November 21) at 50 Cent ‘s “Final Lap” event at London’s O2 Arena, fans were treated to a very special surprise guest. During his performance a giant box on stage flashed the message “there’s a monster in this box,” as the familiar strains of Ed Sheeran‘s “Shape of You” filled the arena and Fif said “turn it up even more!”

Ed then popped out from under the box — without his signature acoustic guitar — and began singing his 2017 smash while dapping up 50 who added some ad libs and joined the clearly excited Sheeran on the chorus. Sheeran chronicled the special moment on his Instagram Story, writing, “50 Cent has invited me to the O2 to sing ‘Shape of You,’” along with footage of himself walking around beforehand backstage singing to 50’s “21 Questions.”

Though they were in all-white on stage, 50 posted some backstage images of the men in all black yukking it up with the message, “My man came through for me tonight, BOOM, LONDON went crazy! It don’t get bigger than this.”

Sheeran also previewed his walk-out in an Instagram Live video shared by 50, in which the singer tells the camera, “50 Cent has invited me to the O2 to sing ‘Shape of You,’ and I’m going to walk on stage and go, ‘Who likes ‘In Da Club?… Here’s ‘Shape of You.’” Ed then sings a bit of 50’s “21 Questions” before a stagehand loads him into the lift that positions him inside the box as he yells “In Da Club!”

Afterwards, a hyped Sheeran can’t stop yelling “In Da Club!” as he leaves the stage and retreats to a sky box to watch the show and rap along to “Many Men” and, of course “In Da Club.”

David Beckham hangs out with D12 & Snoop Dogg at London show

Iconic football player, David Beckham hangs out with D12 and Snoop Dogg at their massive O2 Arena show in London.

Few days ago, Snoop Dogg arrived in Scotland to begin a massive European tour as a part of his I Wanna Thank Me world tour. The Long Beach legend was welcomed to Scotland by a bagpiper who played his 1999 collaboration with Dr. Dre, a mega-hit single “Still D.R.E.”

The Death Row Records boss took to Instagram to share a video clip of the moment, which featured Snoop busting some moves as the bagpiper played the iconic tune. “Just touched down in Scotland,” he captioned the post.

Snoop Dogg’s I Wanna Thank Me arena saw him headline shows in Scotland and Denmark before he taking on London’s O2 Arena show yesterday (March 21, 2023). The shows included performances from supporting acts: Warren G, Tha Dogg Pound, Obie Trice and D12 (Kuniva and Swifty McVay).

After Ed Sheeran showing up in Australia to hang out with our Shady boys, former Real Madrid and Manchester United football player, David Beckham is the latest superstar to kick it backstage with Swifty McVay and Kuniva. The picture was shared by D12’s official social media pages with the caption: “Look who came to check us out tonight in London. Salute David Beckham.”

50 Cent raps Eminem’s “Forget About Dre” hook before performing “Ayo Technology” in London

50 Cent has started the United Kingdom tour this week and the crowd’s admission has been impressive so far!

Fifty was performing at the OVO Arena in Wembley last Friday, 10 June, 2022 when he made the crowd slightly emotional after he said he was not sure if the United Kingdom would remember him.

Fiddy told to the thousands in the crowd: “You all did not forget. I thought you forgot about me.” He then made a reference to Dr. Dre who produced 50 Cent’s major-label debut album, an all-time classic, Get Rich or Die Tryin’, back in 2003.

“You know like they Forgot About Dre,” 50 added before spitting some Eminem bars from the song: “Nowadays everybody wanna talk like they got something to say but nothing comes out when they move their lips, just a bunch of gibberish and motherf***ers act like they forgot about Dre.”

“Forgot About Dre” is a song from 1999 by Dr. Dre and Eminem and the theme, as you might have guessed, was a message to the ‘haters’ who thought the producer had ‘fallen off’.

After spitting few lines of Eminem’s hook, 50 kicked off one of his hit songs “Ayo Technology,” which features Justin Timberlake.
