List of all songs Eminem released & was featured in 2022

In 2022, Eminem released and was featured in total of seven songs, mostly produced by Dr. Dre, featuring the likes of 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Kanye West, CeeLo Green, The D.O.C. and Cordae. Even though it had not been much active year for Em, he performed at one of the biggest stages in the world, that includes Super Bowl Halftime performance, Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame and MTV Video Music Awards. Traditionally, at the end of every year, we have listed all the songs Slim Shady jumped on in 2022.

1. Cordae – “Parables (Remix),” featuring Eminem (January 14, 2022)

Cordae and Eminem teamed up on the remix of “Parables” for “From A Bird’s Eye View” album, produced by Cardiak and Nami. “Parables (Remix)” opens with the same two Cordae verses heard on the original. In the song, Eminem raps overcoming adversity on his verse, a showcase for his rapid-fire punning. He starts by remembering how, as a young rapper, he dreamed of nothing more than being featured in the hip-hop magazine The Source, which would award “five mics” for killer albums and promote new talent in the “Unsigned Hype” column.

2. Dr. Dre – “Gospel,” featuring Eminem & The D.O.C. (February 4, 2022)

Originally, “Gospel,” debuted in December 15, 2021 through GTA Online: The Contract but it was officially released on streaming platforms on February 4, 2022, a week before legendary Super Bowl performance, which also featured 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige and Anderson .Paak. Contrary to most Eminem verses, the pace throughout “Gospel” is relatively not fast. GTA Online: The Contract showcases Dre’s beginnings of a comeback in the music game after not having dropped a project of his own since 2015’s Compton.

3. Eminem – Jimmy, Brian and Mike (May 26, 2022)

Originally recorded sometime in 1999-2000, Eminem released the song alongside 38-track expanded edition of his blockbuster 2002 fourth solo studio album, The Eminem Show, in honor of the LP’s 20th anniversary. The song is produced by Eminem, Mike Elizondo and Dr. Dre and Em originally recorded it for his third solo studio album, The Marshall Mathers LP, before scrapping the track in its early stages. “A couple months ago for this EXPANDED EDITION release Em went back to the lab, recalled the sessions, finished the chorus and put the touches on it so that it could be included in the Bonus Tracks added to the album. Please sit back and enjoy the show.” said Eminem’s manager, Paul Rosenberg.

Produced by Dr. Dre, the song samples Presley’s “Jailhouse Rock”, and showcases the two artists taking turns, paying homage to Presley. “Me and Eminem have been friends for years. I’ve longed for an opportunity to work with him. He said, ‘Hey man, can you do this for me? I need it really quickly, I need it tonight.’ So when Eminem says he needs something tonight, you deliver.” said CeeLo Green. The song debuted at No. 86. on UK’s Single’s chart.

“Is This Love” is an unreleased song from 2009, most likely recorded for Em’s Relapse 2 album, yet was kept in the vault due to the negative reviews received by Relapse from Critics. This track is one of the three recorded by the duo in 2009, with the one, “Psycho”, being put on 50’s album, Before I Self Destruct and Relapse’s “Crack A Bottle,” which also features Dr. Dre and became No. 1 single in US. Like “Jimmy, Brian and Mike,” the track contains re-recorded vocals by both Em and Fiddy.
