Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg release “Missionary” short film

Snoop Dogg has dropped Missionary, his highly anticipated Dr. Dre-produced new album. The 16 song project features Eminem, 50 Cent, BJ The Chicago Kid, Coco Sarai, Method Man, Sting, K.A.A.N., Jelly Roll, Alus, and Jhene Aiko. Dr. Dre hasn’t produced a full Snoop project since 1993’s Doggystyle, Snoop’s full length debut. Snoop and Dre’s reunion hits hard sonically, with Dre’s signature crisp drums and orchestrated production, and Snoop’s updated rhyme flow.

Some of the album’s highlights are the songs with featured MC’s. “Skyscrapers” sees Method Man shine as usual. On a recent Drink Champs episode Meth spoke of the collaboration. “Every time I work with Dre I feel like I need a do over. The first time that I spit a verse with him, it wasn’t up to par for me, and Dre was gracious enough not to put it put, even though it leaked anyway. The next shot I got is for [Missionary]. He got a lotta fire s–t on that joint, and still feel I could have did a little bit more, but I’m always gonna feel like that.”

“Gunz N Smoke” features 50 Cent spitting a triplet styled verse, and Eminem delivering a memorable multi syllabic verse. Other standouts include “Outta Da Blue”, “Gorgeous”, and “Now Or Never”.

Snoop and Dre also dropped the Missionary short film, which features a full script starring Dre and Snoop with cameos from 50 Cent, Jhene Aiko and narration by Method Man. There is also a dead body in the film that wears Eminem Air Jordan’s. Watch it below:

Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre – “Gunz N Smoke” ft. 50 Cent & Eminem

Snoop Dogg has just released his Missionary album under Death Row Records, Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records! Production is entirely handled by the one and only Dr. Dre and Snoop himself.

The album features Eminem, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Sting, Method Man, Jelly Roll, Tom Petty, BJ the Chicago Kid, Jhené Aiko, Alus, K.A.A.N., Smitty, Dem Jointz, Cocoa Sarai, Stalone, and Fat Money. It will follow both of his albums that were released in 2022; his nineteenth studio album, BODR and Snoop Cube 40 $hort, which he was a member of the West Coast hip supergroup, Mount Westmore.

Eminem and 50 Cent are featured on a song titled “Gunz N Smoke” which is co-produced by C.S. Armstrong. In the song Eminem once again brings forth his “rap persona,” Slim Shady, to contrast his rebellious, unrestrained alter ego with his more mature and composed self by showing how Slim Shady would act in similar circumstances: “Comin’ up? So like that syrup, they canceled / I’ma say, “F–k you and your momma,” then blame my rap persona…F–k around and buck these h-es, ain’t talkin’ no luxury clothes / Two nines I tuck, see those? Like Rock & Roll Hall of Famers, try and duck deez, yo / Hey, what the f–k you want? Didn’t I just see you yesterday? F–k outta here, f–k it, b–ch.” Em raps.

Furthermore, Em’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022 stands as one of his most significant and prestigious accomplishments as a rapper…You can stream the song below:

50 Cent gives update on “8 Mile – Eminem” TV show

50 Cent has recently sat down with Big Boy for the interview where he talked about his new Las Vegas Residency, his new 50 Cent Action TV Channel, Mike Tyson fight Snoop Dogg at Olympics, Snoop’s new album Missionary, his investment in Shreveport, Kendrick Lamar at the Super Bowl, Kendrick vs Drake, celebrity scandals, new accusations against Jay Z, his feelings about Diddy and his case, Drake’s music lawsuit, Fat Joe at World Series, Donald Trump 2024 win and Trump using his song Many Men at the rallies.

50 Cent also briefly spoke about “8 Mile” TV show about Eminem, that he announced couple of years ago: “Yeah, we are working on the television. It’s going pretty good. It gets difficult at points because they are so used to having entire control of projects. When you gotta deal with networks and other forces involved, you get little, you know…” Fif said.

“I got a few things [about new music]. I got a piece coming out with Snoop and Em on Snoop’s new album. It’s dope dope!” – 50 Cent added. You can watch the interview below:

50 Cent has also recently performed “P.I.M.P” and “Many Men” at Jimmy Kimmel Live, you can watch the performance below.

50 Cent reacts to new lawsuit accusing Jay-Z & Diddy of sexual assault

50 Cent reacts weighs in on a new lawsuit accusing Diddy and Jay-Z of sexual assault with an Instagram post that questions the biggest sporting event in the United States, Super Bowl.

According to a re-filed lawsuit, Jay-Z and Diddy are accused of raping a 13-year-old girl in 2000. Jay-Z immediately denied the claims and called the lawsuit an “extortion” attempt in a statement. “My lawyer received a blackmail attempt, called a demand letter, from a “lawyer” named Tony Buzbee. What he had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle. No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me want to expose you for the fraud you are in a VERY public fashion. So no, I will not give you ONE RED PENNY!! These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!!”

After the news broke, Fif posted, “Ok, I don’t know what’s going on, but are we gonna still have the Super Bowl? I’m just asking for a friend!” The post arrives after 50 has been frequently asking about Jay-Z’s whereabouts during Diddy’s legal drama in interviews. Jay-Z and 50 Cent have been rivals since 50 dropped “How To Rob” in 1999. Over the summer, 50 revealed that he and Diddy have never been friends and he has never attended a Diddy party. 50 has been trolling Diddy since the mogul’s legal drama began in 2023.

During his interview with Cam’ron, 50 shared that Jay-Z is the reason he wasn’t originally a part of the promotions for his 2022 Super Bowl performance. “The NFL has no issues with me,” 50 told Cam. “This is why I was saying I knew what ol’ boy [Jay-Z] was doing with the Super Bowl. He was doing some wild sh–, Cam, because he was saying to Em and them that the NFL had the issue with me. And I’m like, ‘Well, what’s the issue? Why don’t they have an issue when I’m becoming a partner with the actual teams? But they have an issue with my performance? It makes no sense.’”

Snoop Dogg reveals tracklist of “Missionary” album, prod by Dr. Dre

Snoop Dogg has finally announced the release date for his much anticipated new album “Missionary,” produced entirely by the one and only Dr. Dre.

“Missionary,” which is being billed as the sequel to Snoop’s 1993 debut “Doggystyle,” is set for release on December 13, 2024. It marks the first full-length collaboration between Dre and Snoop since “Doggystyle.”

The rap icon made the announcement with a promotional video on social media where two Mormon missionaries knock on a stranger’s door, only to be met with a woman in full lingerie who tells them, “What the f–k? Your ad said you were dedicated to missionary work.”

Snoop first mentioned the album back in 2022, when he said that it would be done that November. He billed it as a “30th anniversary to ‘Doggystyle,’” which Dr. Dre produced in full. That album became the fastest-selling hip-hop album ever at the time, and has since been hailed as one of the best rap records of all-time.

Today, the tracklist and features were was unveiled. Eminem and 50 Cent appear together on a track called “Gunz N Smoke,” which is, of course, produced by Dr. Dre. You can check the full tracklist and features below.

50 Cent says Eminem will be the greatest grandpa

After announcing that he’s soon kicking off his first ever Las Vegas concert residency, 50 Cent: In Da Club, Fiddy spoke with PEOPLE magazine about Eminem becoming a grandfather: “Oh man, he’ll be the greatest grandfather. That grandkid is gonna say, ‘My granddaddy is still cool. My granddad is cool.'” said 50 Cent.

Then he continued: “He still didn’t lose his cool. He’s still the biggest rap artist in the world. I compared him to my grandparents only because my grandmother raised me. I put Em in that space. When people help you when you can’t help yourself, it resonates the strongest, and Em put me on. So he’s my guy forever. I don’t care.”

“He’s still in that pocket. He’s still doing the same thing, still drilling it, still number one, still highest selling. He can still do it. He can still hold it. That’s because he never stopped. He stayed right there. When I started looking at film and television and other areas to pivot, he stayed right in a recording studio recording.” 50 Cent. added.

50 Cent accepted Bitcoin for his album sales in 2014, here’s how much it’s worth now

In 2014, 10 years ago, 50 Cent became the first artist to accept Bitcoin as payment for his album “Animal Ambition” — and boy, oh boy, was he a visionary?! The astronomical rise of Bitcoin has made him a multi-millionaire today (He’d be multi-millionaire without it too but hey, he added tons of Ms to his bank)

So what happened? Fif collected as many as 700 Bitcoins for his fifth album which was released on June 3, 2014. 50 Cent made about $460,000 in sales, going by Bitcoin’s per unit price of $662 at that time. Cut to 2024, and Bitcoin is a different beast now. As of this writing, one Bitcoin is equal to $62,831, according to data from CoinMarketCap. Going by this, the stash accumulated by New York legend is worth a whopping $44 million now.

Interestingly, 50 Cent, who initially confirmed the deal, denied possessing any Bitcoin in a bankruptcy filing later. The incident reiterates the long-endorsed narrative of Bitcoin being a store of value assets. Over the last 10 years, the digital asset has grown an astonishing 104 times in value, a feat that doesn’t have a parallel in modern finance. While the world’s largest cryptocurrency went through bear market cycles, the most recent of which occurred in the aftermath of the FTX collapse, it has recovered strongly every time.

50 Cent reveals he cried during Eminem daughter’s wedding

50 Cent cover story has recently appeared on Haulte Living. In the interview, Fiddy revealed what he told to Eminem during Hailie’s wedding, which brought him to tears.

“I wish I had a daughter. I do. I wish I had a daughter. I wish I had that father-daughter relationship. For female children, their dad is the first man they fall in love with. Male children go to their mom; I’m a mama’s boy myself.” said 50 Cent during Haulte Living’s June Zoom session.

Then he continued: “Hailie’s wedding was unbelievable, the wildest thing for me, period. I was like, ‘Yo, bro, this is crazy. We’re getting old. Your baby is grown. What the f–k is going on?’ I was having a moment myself over there. I told Em, ‘You said it was OK to cry, because I’m crying.’ I couldn’t believe it went that fast.”

Then he explains that he’s been trying to get Eminem on tour for years, but the Detroit-born rapper was adamant that he couldn’t until Hailie had grown up: “That was the difference between my experience and Em’s. I could always go out on the road, but with Hailie, it was different. Like if she’s looking at you and she doesn’t want you to leave and you go ‘no, I’ve got to work.’ And she says but really, do you have to go?’ ‘OK, maybe I don’t have to go.’ If that was the case, things might have changed for me.”

“Em was saying that he didn’t want to go everywhere in the world where I went. I would say to him that people would pay a gazillion dollars to see us on tour together, all kinds of money to see him perform. And he still did not care about that, because the most expensive thing that we have is time, and he was conscious of being there for Hailie growing up. But now that she has officially fled the nest, it’s time. We should be on the run now; the kids are grown.” 50 Cent added.

Fif also talked about his success after signing to Eminem’s Shady Records: “I had the largest debut hip-hop album in history as I came in. I sold 13 million records, and then the Em heated up. I was blessed to have him around, because while I’m selling 13 million records of Get Rich or Die Tryin’, he’s selling 23 million records of The Marshall Mathers LP.  There was always a possibility for growth, a way to tap into something that could be even bigger. When your head gets so big that it can’t even fit through the door, you have someone around that can help balance that because they’ve had even greater success. Like, we had Dr. Dre around, and he had even more success than both me and Em long before we came in, so it kept everybody in our crew level-headed.”

50 Cent talks first time meeting Eminem & signing a deal with Shady Records

50 CENT has recently invited Million Dollaz Worth of Game down to Shreveport for Humor and Harmony Festival. Gillie shut down the celebrity basketball game, while Wallo watched from the bench. After the game, the guys linked up with 50 to sit down and talk. The trio chopped it up in the kitchen of a pop up Sei Less. They talked about 50’s come up, what did to further his career despite being black balled, and how he broke into Hollywood.

At one point of the interview, 50 Cent talked about first time meeting Eminem and signing a deal with Shady Records:  “It was wild. It felt like…Remember that show Punk’d on MTV? I thought they had cameras and it was going to come out and said ‘you’ve been punk’d’. I was in California, he flew me to LA. I was so bugged out from the experience that I had my vest on. The lawyer that I had with me that took me to him, I get there and he’s like ‘let me hug you. Yo, this is going to be the biggest s–t.’ He’s so excited that it made me question whether what was happening was right cause it felt so good that it couldn’t be right.”

Then he continued: “When I left that meeting, I didn’t want him to feel like he bought a problem so I wouldn’t say anything about Ja Rule. When I met him, the first night I met, it was, he had event, it was The Marshall Mathers LP just came out and first week he sold 1.7 million records and he was so excited about me, I’m looking like ‘you serious?!’ And by the time I got back and I would never say anything about Ja until the first time I said something about him, Ja made a mistake and said something about Hailie. When he said something about Hailie, they thought they made some sort of connection when they were getting high. And Em was like, ‘what the f–k made him think like this.’ It was a Friday. Him didn’t record that Friday. I recorded that Friday, that Saturday, that Sunday. He came back, I had a full CD “Automatic Gunfire.” The whole mixtape was done Monday morning. He was listening like ‘yo, when did y’all get the chance to..’ All this s–t was this weekend. I was dying to do that. I just didn’t want him to feel like he bought a problem because I know he didn’t understand the severity of who I am in this. Consequences is you dead, nig-a. There’s nothing else to talk about. He was listening to the material and that s–t was hot.”

“I got 1 million dollar in cash for my first deal. The only person that pointed out that million dollars was no money was Dame Dash. He said ‘after you get watch, chain, look out for the homies and do this and that, it’s nothing.’ And I was like ‘ni-ga, I’m from 134th street, million dollars is a lot of money. I think I hit the lottery.'” 50 Cent added. You can watch the interview below:

Elliott Wilson recalls XXL magazine beefing with Eminem

Elliott Wilson, the founder and CEO of Rap Radar, has previously worked as editor-in-chief of XXL Magazine, recently sat down with VLAD where he recalled beefing with Eminem in early 2000s and how he managed to get 50 Cent, Eminem and Dr. Dre on the cover of the magazine.

“[When I arrived] Eminem already had a beef with XXL magazine. I inherited his beef. I tried to resolve it. They had already wrote an article before I got there, like question white person running hip-hop. The white MC. So he was offended by that. He was in good rapport with The Source at that time, so he was anti XXL. When I got to XXL, my first mission was resolve this beef with Eminem. Get Eminem on my side but he wouldn’t accept it so then I wrote up and did whole magazine against him because he wouldn’t embrace me yet.” said Elliott Wilson.

Then he continued: “And then he dissed us on The Marshall Mathers album cause the first issue I did put a nasty illustration that I regret to this day, about his mother spanking him, so he’s talking about that in the song. But it’s legendary man. I got dissed on a title track of Marshall Mathers LP which is a classic so… My first issue! And it wasn’t even my attent. Was I trolling Eminem? I don’t think I was. I didn’t know what I was doing. I was trying to get it done [laughs].”

Elliott Wilson then continued talking about the iconic cover story XXL magazine made back in 2003 with 50 Cent, Dr. Dre and Eminem: “I don’t know if you know this Vlad but 50 Cent does not like me. Let’s give 50 Cent all the credit in the world. 50 Cent was the reason I was able to finally resolve this conflict I inherited with Eminem and join the situation. We were supporting 50. I remember going to the office and everybody’s pumping his mixtapes. 50’s the hottest guy at that moment in New York. You could not deny his impact. So, we just started doing these stories on him and just continually putting him in the magazine, continually showing support, we built great rapport with him so we just kept supporting him. So, when he signed to Eminem, we were like ‘oh s–t. Is he gonna cut us off?’ We thought 50 gonna say ‘I can’t f–k with you all. Eminem and those guys don’t f–k with you.’ He ended up do be the bridge to help solve the situation.” he said.

Elliott then continued: “And then what happened was, Benzino made a record dissing Eminem at the same time so I went to have a meeting with Paul Rosenberg to resolve this conflict cause I wanted that 50 Cent cover. So, we had this whole sit down and Paul was like ‘how would you like, Eminem, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent cover?’ I was like ‘this guy is f–king with me.’ I just wanted 50 Cent. He was like ‘you didn’t hear last night? Benzino dropped the diss record.’ I had not heard it. I missed it. So everything led to having that moment. Then Interscope pulled all the advertisements from The Source and gave it to us which empowered us to go on the run that we began.” You can watch the interview below:

Battle rappers, 50 Cent, Russ, Twista & more react to new Eminem album “The Death of Slim Shady”

Eminem dropped The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grace) album and while critics did not favor the project, hip-hop community who appreciate the lyrics, concept and multisyllable rhymes were impressed by the first Eminem album in 4 years.

Battle rapper A. Ward tweeted: “One thing I believe is not up for debate is…. Eminem is the Greatest Rhymer Ever.” Another battle rapper Mike P said: “21 for 21. Album Of The Year. One of the best albums Eminem has ever made… Holy s—t.” Battle rapper Real Sikh tweeted: I f–k with the “Dream” concept on Eminem new album. You hear alarm clocks and him waking up from a nightmare throughout the album, so most of the album is him dreaming.”

Ice Cube’s son O’Shea Jackson Jr. tweeted: “OMFG, Eminem, I can’t wait to bump this s–t in the car. This mother–ker going crazy.” One of the fans commented: “This is why I hate rap now. It’s all about lyrics and reading between the lines. Tupac just made simple dope a-s songs like Dear Mama, I Get Around, Toss It Up. You did not have to rewind 10 times to get it.” On that, Jackson Jr. replied: “This is the problem. Motherf—kers been eating fast food for so long they don’t know when a good meal is prepared for them.”

AJ Francis said: “Eminem lyrically is the greatest rapper ever. His song style is not for everyone, and some of the stuff he says makes people uncomfortable, but if we talking about lyrical breakdown… He’s the GOAT.” Ren said: “Can’t explain how happy the new Eminem album makes me. Feel like when I listened to The Marshall Mathers LP for the first time. Goosebumps.” Dax tweeted: “New Eminem album is fire.”

Hip-hop YouTuber Stevie Knight ranked the album inside Em’s top three projects. He said “The Eminem Show, The Marshall Mathers LP, The Death of Slim Shady. Top 3 Eminem albums of all time no specific order.” Terrell Mallory said: “This is what I will say… Eminem showed as he always does, that he can REALLY RAP better than MOST.” His brother said: “We listened to The Death Of Slim Shady and Eminem is insane honestly. We caught a LOT of bars. can’t wait for y’all to see what we caught first listen… The man can rap and has a sick mind indeed but at what cost? Either way, I think it was a solid project and concept, but I also understand some hating it. Also let me say the “concept” of him killing “Slim Shady” and how his evilness has fueled his career but also hurt him in the same way. The world changed and he didn’t type s–t. That aside, he said some real offensive s–t on the album and the “concept” doesn’t excuse that.”

One of the users asked Russ to share his opinion on the album. Russ responded: “hiiiiiiigh level rapping abilities. Favorite Em album in a minute.” 50 Cent also tweeted: “Yo Eminem, s–t is crazy. It takes me a while to understand the details of this one.” Pakistan decedent Detroit rapper Lazarus quotes Eminem’s Pakistan line and said that new Eminem album is fire. Surprisingly for me, XXL magazine tweeted: “Eminem is 51 years old and seriously hasn’t lost a step.”

Rap community was also impressed by JID’s verse on “Fuel.” Token said: “JID lost his mind on that Em song.” Mickey Factz tweeted: “Yea this JID verse is candidate for feature verse of the year… along with Kendrick on Like That. Wow good s–t bro.” Director Mike Chehadé said: “Just so everyone knows the JID feature on the new Eminem album didn’t happen overnight. Their relationship started at the beginning of J.I.D’s career. I remember calling J.I.D years ago after he dropped The Never Story. He told me Em and Mos Def had reached out to show love and support. Even back then the greats saw what we’re all witnessing now from J.I.D… Scary part is he’s just getting started!” Twista said “I need to spit a verse on the Fuel song” and tagged Eminem on X.
