Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre – “Gunz N Smoke” ft. 50 Cent & Eminem

Snoop Dogg has just released his Missionary album under Death Row Records, Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records! Production is entirely handled by the one and only Dr. Dre and Snoop himself.

The album features Eminem, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Sting, Method Man, Jelly Roll, Tom Petty, BJ the Chicago Kid, Jhené Aiko, Alus, K.A.A.N., Smitty, Dem Jointz, Cocoa Sarai, Stalone, and Fat Money. It will follow both of his albums that were released in 2022; his nineteenth studio album, BODR and Snoop Cube 40 $hort, which he was a member of the West Coast hip supergroup, Mount Westmore.

Eminem and 50 Cent are featured on a song titled “Gunz N Smoke” which is co-produced by C.S. Armstrong. In the song Eminem once again brings forth his “rap persona,” Slim Shady, to contrast his rebellious, unrestrained alter ego with his more mature and composed self by showing how Slim Shady would act in similar circumstances: “Comin’ up? So like that syrup, they canceled / I’ma say, “F–k you and your momma,” then blame my rap persona…F–k around and buck these h-es, ain’t talkin’ no luxury clothes / Two nines I tuck, see those? Like Rock & Roll Hall of Famers, try and duck deez, yo / Hey, what the f–k you want? Didn’t I just see you yesterday? F–k outta here, f–k it, b–ch.” Em raps.

Furthermore, Em’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022 stands as one of his most significant and prestigious accomplishments as a rapper…You can stream the song below:

T3 of Slum Village & Mr. Mecc give Eminem his flowers

T3 of Detroit’s legendary hip-hop group Slum Village has recently sat down with Math Hoffa and Mr. Mecc on My Expert Opinion alongside with Young RJ where they discussed “Nobody bumping Eminem in the hood or a car” narrative.

“I co-host couple of Em’s battles. He was killing it. Em was always dope. I remember Em’s first demos man, it was ridiculous. I was like, DAMN. [Nobody bumping Eminem in a car] narrative is crazy. Eminem is a GOAT. Let’s just keep it there. Em is a GOAT bro, I ain’t even let you go there. When you say that, you gotta start about the inception of him though. The inception of Em when he first dropped everybody was listening. I don’t care if you was in the hood. You were listening to what he was saying! YOU ARE LISTENING! So I ain’t buying that.” said T3.

It seems Math Hoffa agreed the narrative by saying “Em’s appealing to me because of the lyricism and the creativity but we are not on the block selling nothing… and people who say that are talking about the hood hood.” but then Mr. Mecc interfered: “I hate that bro, every block ain’t selling. And you have to remember that’s YOUR S–T. Those singles can’t do what they do if they are not being playing all over the f–king place. And if you didn’t turn up Eminem in your specific car, that’s cool. Just remember you wasn’t in every car and people who played Eminem in their car was not offering you a ride. So shut the f–k up. Just be quiet. Just remember those cars that was playing the records, you was not in. Stop trying to s–t on people.”

New Song: Eminem – “Tobey” ft. Big Sean & BabyTron

Eminem connects THREE different generations of rappers out of the Detroit by featuring Big Sean, BabyTron and himself on “Tobey,” produced by marvy ayy, John Nocito, Daniyel, Carlton McDowell, Cole Bennett and Eminem from The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grace) album, dropping on July 12, 2024.

Eminem gave fans a glimpse into the track’s horror theme with a trailer few days ago. The clip finds Em in a Jason Voorhees goalie mask revving a chainsaw and gushing blood while slicing up a body. Babytron and Big Sean watch Eminem’s gruesome butchering in tow without batting an eye.

The ticking ominous production begins and Big Sean gets off the only Spider-Man referencing bar heard in the clip. “Tobey Maguire got bit by a Spider, but me, see it was a goat,” raps Sean.

In his verse, Eminem addresses Melle Mel beef that occurred last year when the pioneer of hip-hop said that Eminem does not deserver to be be in top 5 rappers because he’s white. “When I get dissed by a pioneer / Who was one of the reasons why I’m here / They tell me I should just let that s–t go and slide / “Melle Mel shouldn’t get no reply, that man is a legend” / Bitch, so am I.”

“Tobey” marks Em’s first collab with Babytron and fourth with Big Sean following their team-up in 2017 on I Decided’s “No Favors,” Detroit 2‘s “Friday Night Cypher” and ShadyXV‘s “Detroit Vs. Everybody.” Em kicked off the album rollout with his nostalgic “Houdini” single, which gave him his highest-charting track of the decade when it debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200. Bump the new track below!

Eminem drops new single “Houdini” with music video

Eminem attempts to make his career disappear with new single titled “Houdini,” produced by himself and Luis Resto. It serves as the lead single to Eminem’s twelfth studio album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce). The track is named after Harry Houdini, a popular magician known for his death-defying stunts like the Chinese Water Torture Cell, which Eminem replicates in the intro to his 1999 track, “Role Model.”

“Little baby devil with the forked tongue and it’s stickin’ out,” raps Eminem in the opening verse, before he adds, “Still a white jerk pullin’ up in a Chrysler to the cypher with the Vics, Percs and a Bud Light shirt.” At the end of the first verse, Eminem references Megan Thee Stallion’s shooting incident with Tory Lanez  with a clever wordplay: “If I was to ask for Megan Thee (What?)/ Stallion if she would collab with me / Would I really have a shot at a feat? (Haha) I don’t know, but I’m glad to be back like Abra-abracadabra…”

In the third verse, Eminem claims that there are still many kids who want to act like him while namedropping R. Kelly and Black Eyed Peace: “In the coupe, leaning back my seat (What?)
Bumpin’ R. Kelly’s favorite group (Uh), the black guy (Guy) pees (Pees, haha) / In my Air Max 90s / White Ts, walkin’ parental advisory / My transgender cat’s Siamese (Why?) / Identifies as black, but acts Chinese.”

At the end of the verse, Eminem says a big f–k you to everybody, including Paul Rosenberg, Dr. Dre and his own kids: “Go ahead, Paul, quit, snake-a-s prick, You male cross dresser (Haha), fake-a-s b-tch / And I’ll probably get s-t for that (Watch) / But you can all suck my d–k, in fact / F–k them, f–k Dre, f–k Jimmy, f–k me, f–k you / F–k my own kids, they’re brats (F–k ’em) / They can screw off (Yeah), them and you all (Uh) / You too, Paul, got two balls / Big as RuPaul’s (Woah).”

The music video features cameos from Paul Rosenberg, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, GRIP, Westside Boogie, EZ Mil, Alchemist, Denaun Porter, Royce 5’9″, Pete Davidson, Jimmy Iovine, three of his daughters and others and it references to his iconic “Without Me” music video. Ez Mil drops new freestyle “New York” over “Pakistani” beat

Ez Mil is back with a new “New York” freestyle over D-Block Europe and Clavish’s “Pakistan” song, produced by Da Beatfreakz. “Feeling cute, might release a freestyle later.” said Ezekiel before dropping the freestyle.

This marks the first release from Shady Records artist since a remix of “Up Down” with A Boogie Wit da Hoodie couple of months ago. The original track is titled “Up Down (Step & Walk),” and is produced by Ezekiel himself. The song is from his 2022 album, DU4LI7Y. Ez just rides this 16bit futuristic beat. With a mix of old school boom bap careless flow artillery and a hint of A.I. style. Accompanied by his little robot friend, R4C7 on synths.

Last year, Eminem shared a social media post about Ez Mil’s song “Up Down (Step & Walk)” and wrote: “This is why we signed him.” Slim Shady was so impressed by the song and it led to an exciting turn of events as Ez made the journey from Vegas to Los Angeles to meet with Dr. Dre and Eminem for the very first time. The meeting sparked a strong bond between Ez Mil and Eminem, leading Em to sign him to Shady Records and eventually collaborate on a track called “Realest,” the song that showcases their incredible rap acrobatics, with a pulsating beat and an array of complex multisyllabic rhyme schemes and clever wordplay that harkens back to Marshall’s legendary style.

“Up Down (Step and Walk)” also has a music video with over 4.3 million views on YouTube. It’s a collaboration between the rapper himself and Creative Director & TRYBE founder Phil Tayag. The song first premiered at the NBA LA Clippers vs. Utah Jazz halftime performance and was well received with millions watching the performance live or online. The visual art focused on dance and he was excited to work with the award winning choreographer who’s also worked with Bruno Mars, Anderson .Paak, and Paul McCartney. Growing up, Ezekiel was a huge fan of hip-hop and dance, he would spend countless hours studying dance and music videos any chance he could whether at school or in Internet cafes in the Philippines.

Hardy covers Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre’s “Gin And Juice”

Hardy‘s mama ain’t home and that means it’s time to party. The Philadelphia, Mississippi-born country rock musician served up “Gin and Juice” with a twist on his newly-released cover of the Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre’s classic tune. The cover fuses country rock with California rap as Hardy lays out the itinerary for his night with the boys: roll down the street smoking indo, shoot some deer with the bullets filling up his pockets, and throw back some G&Js.

“A while back, I got a phone call saying that Jimmy Iovine, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg would like for me to record my own version of ‘Gin and Juice’ for the launch of their new drink, Gin&Juice,” Hardy shared in a statement. “I’m still in disbelief, but I am so stoked that I’m dropping my version of ‘Gin and Juice’ with the blessing of Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg themselves. Thankful for the opportunity.”

On his Instagram post, Hardy captioned: “I’m still in disbelief, but I am so stoked to announce that I recorded my version of this classic record for the short film Gin and Juice with the blessing of @drdre and @snoopdogg themselves. Thankful for the opportunity. Song drops tonight at 11p CT. Enjoy @dreandsnoop.”

Hardy kept the structure of “Gin and Juice” as a foundation for his own spin on it, which name dropped some friends and flipped Snoop Dogg’s “Gs up, hoes down while you motherf–kers bounce to this” with “Gs up, h-es down while you rednecks bounce to this.” In this version, the drink Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre took in the middle of the street is now swallowed down on an old back road, but his mind is still on his money and his money is still on his mind.

Hardy will explore more of this rock sound — and potentially less of the rap sound — on his as-yet-untitled forthcoming studio album. Two songs from the record, including “Rockstar” and “Quit,” have already been released. Earlier this year, Hardy performed at the Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace Big Game After Party at Encore Beach Club inside Wynn Las Vegas. The massive, star-studded Super Bowl after party was hosted by Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre…You can bump the new cover below:

Nasaan recreates Proof & Eminem’s classic freestyle in new music video ft. Royce 5’9″

Ahead of his much anticipated ERROR 404 project that drops next month, NASAAN has rolled out the self-directed video for a new single titled “GOATED,” featuring his mentor Royce Da 5’9″. In the video clip, NASAAN, who also edited the video, pays tribute to his late father, Big Proof, by recreating the Detroit Mayer’s 1999 MTV News freestyle clip shot in the car with Eminem. Notably, the “GOATED” video arrived on April 11, i.e. 18 years to the day since Proof was fatally shot at the age of 32 and it’s duration is 3:13.

Expect to hear “GOATED” single a lot this year, as NASAAN has landed a partnership with ESPN and The National Basketball Association that sees the song being given the four-month licensing deal treatment. This means you’ll likely hear it during the playoffs, not to mention at other NBA-sanctioned events.

ERROR 404, out May 31, was previously teased with the release of the Icewear Vezzo collaboration “CULLINAN GANG,” complete with an official video by Unpaused Studios. abytron, Swavay, Pooh Beatz, and Turbo are also set to make appearances on the Assemble Sound and Atlantic Records release.
