Mr. Porter hints at Eminem performance at Michigan Central Station

Guess what is back? Michigan Central Station is finally back. It has been 36 years since the last train left the station, but next week, Ford Motor Co. will reopen the long-empty building to the public once again. When the station reopens, it’ll be the first time in a generation that visitors will be invited in to see the historic space, now reinvented for new uses.

As the Detroit newspapers report, hosted by Ford and Michigan Central, Michigan Central OPEN welcomes the public to share in this major milestone with an opening night concert outside the station featuring a lineup of legendary Detroit performers produced by Jesse Collins Entertainment, an Emmy-winning production company, that has played an integral role in producing many of television’s most memorable moments in music entertainment, including multiple Super Bowl Halftime Shows. Jesse Collins Entertainment’s Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay will executive produce the show. Emmy award-winning production companies Diversified Production Services and Killian + Company are also producing the special event. The outdoor concert will also be available via livestream.

“There’s no place like Detroit, and we couldn’t be more excited to showcase the city through its own incredible artists. We’re going to create an unforgettable welcome party for Michigan Central with this new chapter in Detroit history that celebrates the visions of these unique performers who are bound together by a shared love of their city.” said Executive Producer Jesse Collins, founder and CEO Jesse Collins Entertainment.

On June 6, festivities kick off with Live from Detroit: The Concert at Michigan Central, a 90-minute outdoor spectacular in front of The Station headlined by some of  Detroit’s biggest stars. The standing room only show will feature short films, appearances by local leaders, and creators telling stories of innovation and culture from around the city and the region. Gates will open at 6 p.m., and the show will begin at 8:30 p.m.

Even though the list of performers has not been announced yet, Eminem is highly possible to be one of the musical acts to hold the convert at the event as he has just released new single “Houdini,” from upcoming The Death Of Slim Shady album. Fans’ prediction has been strengthened by Denaun Porter on Instagram. “Spited,” which is a rhyme scheme platform, posted a video of Eminem’s rhyme scheme on the second verse of “Houdini.” Under the comment section, Denaun commented: “Please do the rest of the song. I gotta learn this by Monday. Way easier to follow.” As you know, Mr. Porter is Eminem’s hypeman during concerts and live events. By “I gotta learn this by Monday” and “Way easier to follow” are somethings that a hypeman would say.
