Cole Bennett celebrates 1 year anniversary of Eminem’s “Godzilla” video
Yesterday, exactly 1 year ago, Eminem dropped the music video of “Godzilla,” featuring Juice WRLD, from Music To Be Murdered By album, directed by Lyrical Lemonade’s Cole Bennett. The video features cameos from hip-hop icon Dr. Dre, legendary boxer Mike Tyson, actress Anna Dahl and actor George Todd McLachlan. Juice WRLD appears in the video as well, using older stock footage.
“Godzilla” video was nominated at 2020 MTV Video Music Awards in two categories: “Video Of The Year” and “Best Hip-Hop Video” but lost to The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” and Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage” respectively.
To celebrate 1 year anniversary, Cole Bennnett dedicated an Instagram story to the video, saying: “One year ago this [Godzilla] video came out and changed my life in a lot of ways.”
