Today, 15 years ago, Eminem released “Curtain Call: The Hits”
On this day, 15 years ago, Eminem released his greatest hits album “Curtain Call: The Hits” under Shady Records, Interscope Records and Aftermath Entertainment. The album includes Eminem’s greatest hits, as well as new tracks: “Stan” (live version with Elton John), ‘When I’m gone,’ ‘FACK,’ and ‘Shake That,’ featuring Nate Dogg.
The album was huge commercial success. It sold 441,000 copies in its first week and as of today it is certified 8x platinum in the United States for selling more than 8 million copies in the country. The album also broke a record for the longest charting rap album on Billboard with more than 500 weeks on the charts.
